YouTube is currently testing a very handy new feature that will allow users to view videos privately in their YouTube app. Yes, we’re talking about an Incognito Mode within the app itself.
YouTube Incognito Mode is being tested only on Android devices as of now. However, once perfected, the feature will be available on iPhone as well.
How to use YouTube Incognito Mode
- Open the YouTube app on your phone.
- Tap on your profile picture icon on the top-right corner.
- Select Turn on Incognito.
- You’ll get a You’ve gone incognito pop-up, hit Got it button to proceed.
That’s it. You can now browse videos in YouTube app on your phone without worrying about your activity being logged.
To exit Incognito Mode on YouTube, follow the same procedure and this select Turn off Incognito from the list of options.
