Escape Room: The Sealed Castle – Royal Kitchen Full Walkthrough

The Royal Kitchen is one of the puzzle stages inside Escape Room: The Sealed Castle, the second Roblox project from Escape Room Labs. Clearing it means chaining together six locked puzzles in the right order, ending with a set of fireplace dials that open the exit door. Miss one item early and the whole chain stalls, so the sequence below follows the exact dependency path from spawn to escape.

Quick answer: Open the stove with Star, Hexagon, Cross, Triangle to get the axe, chop the wall cabinet for the underdoor Key, clear both basement barrel color puzzles, spell CLOVE to open the crate, unlock the red dining room door, match the utensil panel to grab the bucket, fill it and douse the fireplace, then set the four dials to up-left, up, up-right, and down.

Puzzle order and rewards

Each puzzle hands you the item needed to reach the next one. Use this as a checklist to confirm nothing was skipped.

Get the axe and the underdoor Key

Head to the stove and find the four-button shape panel. Press the buttons from left to right in the order Star, Hexagon, Cross, Triangle. The stove opens and drops the axe with an “Obtained an axe!” message.

Move to the black cabinet mounted on the wall near the kitchen painting and water trough. Use the axe on it to break it open. Inside are colored plates and a key. Grab the “underdoor Key”.

Take the key to the black trapdoor set into the kitchen floor and unlock it. Climb down the stairs into the stone basement maze.

Clear both basement barrel puzzles

The basement holds two color-matching rooms. Each barrel must sit on the floor tile of the same color to open the gate ahead.

In the first room, push the blue, red, and yellow barrels onto their matching colored tiles. The first gate opens once all three sit correctly.

In the second room, push the green, yellow, red, and blue barrels onto their matching tiles. The next gate opens, leading to the crate room.

Solve the CLOVE crate and open the red door

The crate room has a five-letter dial panel and a clue board on the wall. The board points back to the ingredient baskets on the kitchen counter and the colored plates in the cabinet. Trace those paths, and the answer spells out a single kitchen ingredient.

Set the five letter dials to spell CLOVE. The crate unlocks and gives you a key.

Run back through the maze, climb the ladder to the kitchen, and use the key on the red door. It leads into the dining room.

Match the utensil panel to get the bucket

The dining table has empty place settings, and a wall panel shows utensil symbols. Set each panel spot to the item missing at the matching seat. Use the layout below.

When the panel matches, a compartment unlocks and you collect a bucket.

Put out the fire and set the exit dials

Take the empty bucket back to the kitchen water trough and fill it. The prompt changes to “Obtained a bucket of water!”.

Return to the dining room and pour the water on the fireplace. The flames go out and reveal four hidden dials.

The dials must copy the orientation of the utensils shown in the kitchen wall paintings. Set them as follows.

How to confirm the escape

You know the stage is finished when you walk through the opened door and see the “ESCAPE SUCCESS!” prompt, followed by “Badge Awarded! Royal Kitchen Escape”. If the exit door stays shut, the dials are the usual holdup. Recheck each one against its painting, since a single dial pointing the wrong way keeps the door locked.
