Odette is the marquee 5-star of Version 7.0, and she works differently from most Cryo characters. She carries a Stellar Linchpin instead of a Vision, which means her presence rewrites how your party’s Cryo reactions behave. With her on the field, a Superconduct becomes Stellar-Conduct and a Cryo Swirl becomes Stellar Swirl, and she buffs both based on her own attack. That flexibility lets her slot into two different team shells.
Quick answer: Odette’s strongest lineup is a Stellar-Conduct team of Sandrone, Odette, Yae Miko, and Qiqi. Swap Qiqi for the free unit Alyosha if you don’t have Qiqi at C6.

What Odette actually does in a team
Odette is a Cryo sword user who plays as an off-field sub-DPS and reaction enabler. She fulfills the Stellar Linchpin requirement that any Stellar reaction needs, so an Electro or Anemo partner can only trigger Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl while she is in the party. On her own, Electro and Anemo characters just produce ordinary Superconduct or Swirl.
Her value scales with attack. The more ATK she stacks, the more her passive raises the base damage of the Stellar reaction her teammates trigger, and her Burst grants a buff that increases the Stellar reaction damage she deals. Because of this, she fits neatly into two categories: Cryo plus Electro for Stellar-Conduct, and Cryo plus Anemo for Stellar Swirl.
| Reaction | Elements | What Odette adds |
|---|---|---|
| Stellar-Conduct | Cryo + Electro | Enables the reaction and buffs its damage with her ATK |
| Stellar Swirl | Cryo + Anemo | Enables the reaction; currently only Yumemizuki Mizuki can trigger it |

These lineups pair a Cryo Stellar-Conduct carry with an off-field Electro applicator. Odette sits in the background applying Cryo through her dance double and buffing the reaction, while a healer keeps the team alive and adds Stellar-Conduct bonuses.
Sandrone, Odette, Yae Miko, Qiqi
This is the top overall composition. Sandrone is the best Stellar-Conduct DPS and does the bulk of the damage. Yae Miko applies Electro from off-field as a sub-DPS. Qiqi heals and provides Stellar-Conduct buffs, and Odette rounds it out as a sub-DPS who boosts the reaction’s output. If your Qiqi isn’t at C6, drop in Alyosha instead, a free character who works well as support.

Wriothesley, Odette, Alyosha, Yae Miko
Wriothesley takes the main DPS slot here; his buffs let him deal Stellar-Conduct damage directly. Odette acts as both sub-DPS and the enabler that turns the reaction Stellar. Yae Miko again supplies off-field Electro as a sub-DPS. Alyosha covers healing while also buffing party ATK and Stellar-Conduct.
Cyno, Odette, Yae Miko, Qiqi
Cyno leads this version as the main DPS, using his own buffs to utilize the Stellar-Conduct reaction. Yae Miko is especially useful here because she shares the Electro element with Cyno, generating energy for his Burst on top of her off-field Electro application. Odette enables and buffs the reaction, and Qiqi handles healing plus Stellar-Conduct support.

Best Stellar Swirl team for Odette
Yumemizuki Mizuki, Odette, Qiqi, Sucrose
In Version 7.0, Yumemizuki Mizuki is the only character who can trigger Stellar Swirl, which makes her the anchor of this shell. She serves as the main DPS and heals allies through her kit. Odette provides the Cryo and the Linchpin so her swirls become Stellar Swirl, while also buffing the reaction. Qiqi adds healing and buffs, and Sucrose groups enemies, reduces their Elemental RES with Viridescent Venerer, and restores energy to Mizuki so she can Burst more often. This is a team that gets stronger as more compatible characters release.

How to run the rotation and confirm it works
The general loop is the same across Stellar-Conduct teams. Apply Cryo with Odette’s Skill to place her dance double, then switch to your Electro unit to trigger the reaction, and finish on your main carry inside the Polestar Field.
You’ll know the setup is working when the Polestar Field appears on the ground after the Electro hit, since that only spawns when the reaction becomes Stellar-Conduct. If you see a normal Superconduct instead, your Stellar Linchpin isn’t on the team or Odette hasn’t applied Cryo first. For Stellar Swirl, the confirmation is the Cryo vortex that forms and then bursts; feeding it more swirls before it explodes upgrades its damage tier.
Because Odette’s buffs scale off her attack, the main thing that separates a passable Odette team from a strong one is how much ATK she carries. Stack ATK and CRIT on her, keep an Electro or Anemo partner in the party at all times, and lean on a healer to hold the composition together. Her Stellar Swirl shell in particular still has room to grow as Snezhnaya adds more characters that can trigger the reaction.
