Servant of the Lake: How to Unlock All 49 Achievements

Every missable action across the three days at the Vanderboom estate, plus the hidden letter chain that leads to the true ending.

Every missable action across the three days at the Vanderboom estate, plus the hidden letter chain that leads to the true ending.

Servant of the Lake has 49 achievements, and most of them are missable. You earn a set of them just by finishing each task in order, but the rest hide behind small, deliberate actions you can walk right past. The trick is knowing the exact moment to break the routine before a scene moves on.

Quick answer: Complete all three days to collect the task achievements automatically, and perform each hidden action below during its matching task. The 49th, You’ve Found Him!, only appears after you finish the game and follow the maid’s letter chain back through earlier tasks.

How the achievements are split

Each task in the game has two achievements tied to it. One unlocks when you finish the task normally, so simply playing through the story clears roughly half the list. The second is a hidden action inside that same task, and many of these are timing-sensitive. If you advance past the trigger, the only way back is to replay that chapter.

An achievement fires with an on-screen pop-up the moment its condition is met. If nothing appears, you either skipped the exact action or did it in the wrong order. The tables below list only the hidden triggers, since the completion achievements need no explanation beyond finishing the task.

Note: Feeding the cat and Soothing the baby both lock out if you progress the scene first. If the cat is no longer grooming itself when you arrive, you have already taken the mouse and must restart the task.

You’ve Found Him: the final achievement

This is the true ending and the last achievement. It is a chain that sends you back to specific tasks across all three days, each unlocking the next letter from the maid, Kate. Continue the game after completing it to begin.

Read the first letter from Kate. It reads, “The crow awakens at five past four.”
Return to Waking up Aldous on Day 1 and set the alarm clock to 4:05. A letter appears describing a severed hand inside Alexandra’s suitcase.
Go to Helping with Bathing on Day 2 and use the tile wall. Press Alexandra, then the Bathtub, then the Suitcase, then the Hand. Read the note behind the loose tile to reveal a maze with LEFT and RIGHT symbols. The path solves to RRRLRLRRL.
Return to Assisting in Alchemy on Day 3 and enter RRRLRLRRL into the left/right box. Another letter unlocks.
Go back to Searching the Attic on Day 1 and open the constellation box. Build three constellations from the images on the letter, grouped as structures and windows, then the two moons, then the water symbols. A new note follows.
Head to Dressing up for Dinner on Day 3, go down to the cellar, and set the wine bottle combination box to match the drawing on the note. This unlocks the next letter.
Solve the bottle placement in that same cellar. Put the bronze bottle on the spiral, the silver bottle on the snake, and the gold bottle on the triangle with a horizontal line, matching the mark on James’s forehead. Climb through the open barrel into the hidden room.
Shake the red fabric until a note falls, then open the locked box using the code 6294. The 6 comes from crossing off numbers with the note’s marks, the 2 from the matching window in the Preparing Coffee painting, the 9 from the eyeball in Going Hunting, and the 4 from the symbol in Assisting in Alchemy. Take the telescope inside.
Stay in the room, go to the window, and use the telescope to view the building outside near the dining room. Finding that hidden location closes out the story and unlocks You’ve Found Him.

Once the final letter chain resolves and the ending plays, all 49 achievements register on your account and the game shows as fully completed. If a task achievement never popped, load that specific chapter again and repeat only its hidden action, since the story completion ones are already banked.
