Fortnite: How to Unlock The Salty Duck Yacht Club and Spray Twitch Drops

Three free Fortnite cosmetics are up for grabs through a Twitch Drops promotion built around an interactive collection puzzle. Instead of just leaving a stream running, you actively click pop-up collectibles on screen until you finish all four phases, then claim your rewards. The prizes are the “The Salty Duck Yacht Club” loading screen, a demon sprite spray, and a guardian spray.

Quick answer: Connect your Epic Games and Twitch accounts, watch a participating Fortnite streamer with Drops enabled, click every interactive collectible until all four collection phases are done, then claim the items from your Twitch Drops & Rewards inventory. The window closes September 30th.

Link your Epic Games and Twitch accounts

Your watch progress and collection clicks only count toward in-game rewards if the two accounts are connected. Do this before you start watching so nothing is lost.

Open your Twitch settings and go to the Connections tab. This is where Twitch lists every third-party account you can attach to your profile.

Find Epic Games in the list and select Connect, then authorize the link. You can also start this from the Epic account connections page if you prefer to link from the Epic side.

Alternatively, open the Drops & Rewards page and click Connect directly next to a Fortnite drop. The end result is the same, a permanent link between the two accounts.

Note: If you linked these accounts for a past event and progress is not registering, disconnect and reconnect them so the handshake between the platforms is active again.

Collect the interactive Drops on stream

This promotion is not a passive watch-time reward. You have to interact with collectibles that appear over the stream and work through a four-phase puzzle to finish the set.

Tune into a participating Fortnite streamer on Twitch’s Fortnite category who has Drops enabled, such as Loeya. Keep the stream open and unmuted so it keeps tracking.

Watch for the interactive collectible items that pop up on the stream screen and click each one as it appears. Every click adds to your collection progress.

Continue until all four collection phases are complete. Duplicate collectibles can appear, which does not break anything but does stretch out how long the full collection takes.

Claim the rewards and confirm they arrived

Finishing the four phases makes the cosmetics available to claim, but they are not automatically granted until you accept them.

When the collection completes, click the Twitch notification that appears to claim the reward on the spot.

If you miss the notification, open your Twitch Drops & Rewards inventory and press Claim next to each unlocked item.

Check your Fortnite locker for the loading screen and both sprays. Most players see the items shortly after claiming, though delivery can occasionally take a little longer.

Why the Drops might not track

If progress stalls or the rewards never show up, the cause is almost always one of these:

Your Epic Games and Twitch accounts are not linked, so nothing carries over to Fortnite.
The stream is muted, which can stop Twitch from counting your time.
You are watching a stream that does not have Drops enabled.
You completed the collection but never clicked Claim in the Drops & Rewards inventory.

The collection event runs until September 30th, so link your accounts, click through all four phases, and claim everything before the window closes to lock in the loading screen and both sprays for free.
