The Legendary Thief’s Treasure is a special chest tucked into Snezhnaya’s snowy exploration in Genshin Impact 7.0. It pays out a bit more than a standard box, but you can’t just walk up and grab it. You need a Treasure Map first, and that map only appears after you finish a specific World Quest and chase down the gang that buried the loot.
Quick answer: Complete the World Quest “Mean Streets of the Despicable” to get the Treasure Map, teleport to the marked area just south of Morepesok, defeat Dashkov and Gusarov, then melt the large ice chunk with the Eye of Graeae followed by a Basic Heat Source to open the Precious Chest.
Get the Treasure Map from “Mean Streets of the Despicable”
The chest is locked behind the World Quest “Mean Streets of the Despicable.” You can’t reach the treasure until you clear it, because the quest is what hands you the map that marks the dig site.

The circled zone sits just south of Morepesok, on the left side of the map. That is where you head next.

Defeat Dashkov and Gusarov to unlock the dig site

Melt the ice chunk to reveal the Precious Chest
When you reach the buried treasure marker, you won’t see a chest right away. A large block of ice is sitting there instead, and it needs two things applied in order.

You know it worked when the ice fully clears and a Precious Chest appears in its place, ready to open. Extra coins are scattered nearby with their own loot prompts, so grab those before you leave.
Legendary Thief’s Treasure rewards
Opening the chest and looting the surrounding coins gives you the following.
| Source | Reward |
|---|---|
| Precious Chest | 30 Primogems, 100,000 Mora, plus additional loot |
| Nearby coins | Small loot including 3-star weapons and artifacts |
Note: The two boss fights hit hard, and the gang comes at you in waves. Bring a character with strong area damage so you can clear crowds quickly and get to Gusarov before the escort steps drag on.
Once the chest is claimed and the group agrees to split the spoils, the trail ends. The map, the two bosses, and the ice block are the only real gates, so as long as “Mean Streets of the Despicable” is finished first, the rest is a straight run to the loot.
