The Chihuahua is an Ultra-Rare pet in Adopt Me, added on August 14, 2026 with the Tux & Shepherd on the Stray Case update. You get it by hatching one of three eggs or by trading with other players, and each egg carries its own chance of producing the pet.

Quick answer: Hatch a Basic Egg (400 Tickets), a Crystal Egg (4,000 Tickets), or an Admin Abuse Egg from Jane’s shop in the Nursery. The Crystal Egg gives the best odds at a 44% chance of an Ultra-Rare pet per hatch.

Chihuahua rarity and appearance

The Chihuahua sits in the Ultra-Rare tier. In its standard form, it has brown fur, large upright ears, cream-colored markings on the face and chest, and a curled, fluffy tail. Its look changes once you combine multiple copies into Neon and Mega Neon versions.

Eggs that can hatch a Chihuahua

Three eggs can produce the Chihuahua. The chance shown below is the odds of pulling an Ultra-Rare pet from each egg, which is the tier the Chihuahua belongs to.

EggCostChihuahua chance per hatch
Basic Egg400 Tickets0.99%
Crystal Egg4,000 Tickets44%
Admin Abuse EggWeekly Admin Abuse event (usually Saturdays)20%

The Crystal Egg costs far more Tickets than the Basic Egg, but the jump from a 0.99% chance to a 44% chance makes it the most efficient route if you can afford it. The Admin Abuse Egg is tied to a limited weekly event rather than a shop purchase.

How to hatch a Chihuahua

Enter the Nursery area and find Jane’s shop. This is where all three eggs are sold.
Buy a Basic Egg for 400 Tickets or a Crystal Egg for 4,000 Tickets. If you want the Admin Abuse Egg instead, you must take part in the weekly Admin Abuse events, which usually happen on Saturdays.
Hatch the egg and check the pet you receive. You will know it worked when a Chihuahua appears in your pet inventory. Because these are chance-based hatches, you may pull other pets first and need to try again.

Unlock the Neon and Mega Neon Chihuahua

Collecting multiple Chihuahuas lets you combine them into glowing versions. Both stages are cumulative, so the Mega Neon requires far more copies than the Neon.

FormCopies neededAppearance
Neon4 ChihuahuaGlows orange on the inner ears, chest fur, nose, feet, and underside of the tail
Mega Neon16 ChihuahuaGlows in the same spots as the Neon, but those areas cycle through rainbow colors

Getting a Chihuahua through trading

If hatching is not going your way, you can trade for a Chihuahua directly. Adopt Me lets you exchange pets, accessories, and items with other players, so an existing Chihuahua owner can hand one over in return for something in your inventory.

Whether you pull it from an egg or pick one up in a trade, the Chihuahua counts the same toward the four-copy Neon and 16-copy Mega Neon goals, so trading is a practical way to speed up those combines.
