If your clock is past the row for your zone, the playtest has already ended for you. There is no staggered regional close. One global timestamp shut every server at once.
Steam dates versus the 2:00 AM UTC cutoff
Steam listed the Closed Beta as August 21–23, 2026. That date range is the public label, not the last second the servers stayed up. The playable window ran straight through the weekend and stopped at 2:00 AM UTC on Monday, August 24.
The two versions can sit next to each other without a contradiction. In Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time, 2:00 AM UTC on August 24 is still Sunday evening, August 23. In Britain, Europe, and time zones further east, the same moment is already Monday. Anyone who treated “August 23” as a hard local midnight close left hours on the table, or showed up after the servers were already gone.
Playtest status after shutdown
The Closed Beta ran through the separate Wardogs Playtest app on Steam, not the main Wardogs store build. After 2:00 AM UTC on August 24, that client can no longer reach live matches. A Playtest entry may still appear in your Steam Library. That leftover install is not an open server.
Wardogs is scheduled to return in Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026, on PC only. Until then, the August playtest window is closed.
