How to Get Credz Fast in RUNAWAYS (Best Method)

Credz are the main currency in RUNAWAYS, and the fastest way to earn them is to escape a run with all four payout factors maxed out. A single clean getaway can pay tens of thousands of Credz, which you then spend on classes, weapons, and vehicles for the next attempt.

Quick answer: Escape a run while traveling the most distance, looting the most cash, holding a 5-star wanted level, and crossing all 4 borders. Those four values add together, then get multiplied, so one strong escape can pay over 70,000 Credz.

How the escape payout is calculated

Credz come almost entirely from successfully escaping. The escape screen adds four separate rewards, applies a bonus, and then multiplies the total. Understanding each line tells you exactly what to push during a run.

FactorWhat it rewardsExample payout
Distance travelledTotal miles covered during the run17.2 miles (+2,720 C)
Cash earnedMoney looted and pawned along the way$70,896 (+12,600 C)
Wanted levelHigher star ratings pay more5 Stars (+5,862 C)
Borders crossedNumber of state/border crossings4/4 (+4,396 C)

On top of those four lines, the escape screen also adds a flat bonus and applies two multipliers. In the sample run, a 3,000 C bonus brought the subtotal to 28,578 C. That figure was then multiplied by 1.25 to reach 35,722 C, and a further x2 doubled it to a final 71,444 Credz.

Because the whole total gets multiplied, every extra mile, every dollar looted, and every border you cross is worth more than it looks on its own line.

Maximize Credz in a single run

Loot aggressively for cash. The cash line paid the biggest single reward in the sample escape, so grab valuables, empty registers and ATMs, and pawn everything you can before you commit to the border.
Build your wanted level to 5 stars. A full star rating adds thousands of Credz on its own, and because it feeds the final multiplier, holding heat instead of shaking it off pays better at escape.
Cross all 4 borders. Reaching 4/4 crossings is one of the four core factors, so plan a route that passes through every crossing rather than making a straight dash for the exit.
Rack up distance before escaping. Miles travelled add their own reward, so a longer, looting-heavy route pays more than a short one, as long as you survive it.
Escape to bank the payout. Credz are only awarded on a successful escape. Getting caught forfeits the run, so time your break for the border while your cash, stars, and crossings are all high.

You know it worked when the “YOU HAVE ESCAPED” screen appears with the itemized breakdown and the final multiplied Credz total, which is then added to your balance.

Free Credz and a pistol from codes

Codes are the quickest way to add Credz without a run. Two are currently active from developer Supercat Games.

CodeReward
RUN1,000 Credz
SUPERCATPistol
Launch RUNAWAYS and wait until you spawn in the lobby.
Click the SHOP icon on the left side of the screen and scroll to the bottom, where the codes box sits.
Type a code exactly as written, in capitals, then press USE. Codes are case-sensitive and reject extra spaces.

A code worked if your Credz balance jumps immediately or the item appears in your inventory. If nothing changes, check the spelling and try again. New codes usually drop through the official RUNAWAYS Discord server when the developer pushes an update or hits a milestone.

Daily missions for extra Credz

Beyond escaping, daily missions give a steady second source of Credz. Check the mission board in the lobby before you start a run so you can knock out qualifying tasks during the same escape rather than repeating runs for each one.

What to spend Credz on

Credz permanently unlock character classes, buy single-use weapons for a run, and purchase vehicles. Classes are the long-term investment, since they shape how a run plays out.

Vehicles can be bought and customized with Credz or Robux. A faster car directly helps two payout factors, since it covers more distance and reaches more borders before you run out of fuel or get caught. Options include the Chunk Mover, Charged, T-1000 (50K C), and the Reventador, while the Floppy Truck is a Robux purchase.

Note: Prices, weapon lists, and vehicle costs can shift with updates, so check the in-game shop values before committing a large Credz balance to any single unlock.

The loop is simple once the formula clicks. Loot for cash, hold your stars, cross every border, and escape to bank a multiplied payout, then top up with codes and daily missions between runs to reach the pricier classes and vehicles faster.
