Grounded 2 Into the Abyss: All 4 New O.R.C. Transmitter Locations

Where each new transmitter sits, the bugs guarding it, and what disabling all four unlocks at Skunk Pond.

The Into the Abyss update adds four new O.R.C. Transmitters to Grounded 2, each perched high on a backyard structure and defended by aggressive O.R.C. bug variants. Reaching them takes climbing, a spider mount for two of the sites, and a short fight before you can hack the device. Clear all four and you open the Skunk Pond Area MIX.R for Raw Science.

Quick answer: Hack the transmitters at the Gnarly Bark tree (-36° N, -20° E), the pond debris (-37° N, 22° E), the bridge near the Pumpkin Patch, and the top of the Pergola. Disabling all four activates the Skunk Pond Area MIX.R.

Tip: Bring a spider mount before you start. Two of the four routes are much faster to climb while mounted.

Gnarly Bark tree transmitter (-36° N, -20° E)

This transmitter sits above the Gnarly Bark area near the Earth Mover excavator. You reach it by climbing the machine and then working through the tree’s inside.

Head to the Earth Mover next to the Gnarly Bark tree and climb up the excavator to find the entrance into the tree.
Enter the tree’s cave and navigate up through the mushrooms inside to reach the branches.
Find the paper airplane stuck in the branches, defeat the O.R.C. insects on it, then interact with the device to hack the first transmitter.

Pond debris transmitter (-37° N, 22° E)

This is the easiest of the four to reach. The device sits on wooden debris near the eastern edge of the pond.

Travel to the marked spot at the water’s edge and bring a spider mount for the climb.
Ride the spider up the wooden debris to the transmitter and hack it.

Bridge transmitter near the Pumpkin Patch

The third transmitter is above the bridge close to the Pumpkin Patch and takes the most precise platforming. You approach from the rocks behind an Admiral Grand bug.

Climb the rocks behind the Admiral Grand creature and make your way up to the planter box.
Cross the fishing rod and traverse the rope that leads over the bridge toward the post.
Defeat the O.R.C. Fireflies guarding the post, then hack the transmitter.

Pergola transmitter

The final transmitter sits on top of the red canopy inside the Pergola. The climb runs up through the structure’s vines and beams, so a spider mount helps again.

Enter the Pergola and climb the vines and wooden beams inside, working upward toward the canopy.
Reach the top of the red canopy, deal with the O.R.C. Tiger Mosquitos, then hack the last transmitter.

Unlocking the Skunk Pond Area MIX.R

All four transmitters must be disabled for the reward to trigger. Once the last one is hacked, the Skunk Pond Area MIX.R activates and becomes available as a source of Raw Science. If it hasn’t opened yet, one transmitter is still broadcasting, so check any site you skipped and confirm each device shows as hacked.
