Chapter 9, Night Has Come, drops Sophia straight into a chase. You flee the beast beneath the island, light a trail of lanterns and braziers toward Minos’ palace, and eventually push through the ruined halls to face Faro. Along that route sit every collectible the chapter has to offer, and most of them are easy to walk past while you are busy running for your life.
Quick answer: Chapter 9 holds the Broken Spear blade, the Phosphate Ring relic, a Pierced Coin charm, and several Resonance Points. Grab the Resonance Points during this run, because they do not carry over if you replay the chapter later through Chapter Select.

Chapter 9 collectible checklist
Here is everything worth stopping for in Night Has Come, and roughly where it appears along the path to the palace.
| Collectible | Type | Where it is |
|---|---|---|
| Broken Spear | Blade | Start of the run to the palace, up the leftmost path at a bull pillar |
| Phosphate Ring | Relic of the Past | Through a crawl gap beside a lantern on the way to the palace |
| Pierced Coin | Charm (Theseus Echo) | Inside Minos’ palace, from a Sphere pedestal and a hidden balcony crawl |
| Resonance Points | Skill points | Throne, palace corridors, pond room, and the reanimated-corpse room |
Broken Spear blade location
The Broken Spear is the seventh of the game’s eight blades, and it sits right at the start of the “Follow the lights to the palace” stretch. As you take control, a man runs toward you and is grabbed by the monster.

Phosphate Ring relic location
The Phosphate Ring is a Relic of the Past, tucked away while you are still lighting the path toward the palace. Keep working through the ruins, crouching or walking to hide your tracks and sticking near light so the beast cannot pin you down.

After a soldier is turned to ash and the beast locks onto you again, keep left through the ruins to reach a brazier you can light, then a lantern you can turn. Once you arrive at the next lantern, crouch through the opening straight ahead to pick up the Phosphate Ring. To carry on afterward, use the small opening to the right of that same lantern.

Pierced Coin charm and Theseus Echo
Inside Minos’ palace you pick up a Pierced Coin charm as part of exploring the halls. In the room with the pond, attack the brazier to clear some petrified ash and open the door ahead, then go left to a pedestal where you can place the Sphere. Doing so triggers a vision and grants the Pierced Coin charm, which gives a slight chance not to empty the Focus Gauge when you use it.

This chapter also holds one of the five Theseus Echoes, which are special Pierced Coin charms. After you destroy a pedestal to reveal light and squeeze through a gap, you reach a balcony. Turn left and crawl through the wall to find the hidden charm before continuing on.
Resonance Points in Chapter 9
Most of Chapter 9’s Resonance Points wait inside the palace, so slow down once you are through the door and past the chase sequences. Each pickup glimmers with a white light and adds one skill point.
- On the throne as you press deeper into the palace, grab the first Resonance Point.
- In the corridor after the throne, go right through a small gap to collect two more.
- In the room with the pond, there is another on the left before you deal with the brazier.
- In the room past the reanimated corpses, one more sits to the right as you head left and down.

Note: braziers do double duty in the palace. They dispel the reanimated petrified enemies, so light them wherever you can, and move slowly by crouching or walking so you are less likely to wake the corpses around you.
Why Resonance Points can’t be cleaned up later
The Broken Spear, Phosphate Ring, and Pierced Coin charm are all safe to grab after the story through Chapter Select, since blades, relics, and charms stay tracked across replays. Resonance Points behave differently. They are only saved once you reach the next checkpoint, and replaying a chapter resets your total to whatever you had when you first started it.
Because of that, you need at least 165 of the 200 Resonance Points collected within a single playthrough to unlock all six mastery branches for the Like a Warrior trophy. If you die before a checkpoint, you have to pick up any you missed again. Sweep Chapter 9’s points as you go rather than counting on a later cleanup, and you will know it worked when your Resonance Point counter climbs under Artefacts and the palace’s skill total holds steady into Chapter 10, Parallel Paths.
