Blox Fruits is getting a Halloween event again this year. Gamer Robot announced it in The Blox Bulletin #025 on October 17th, 2026. The bulletin is written as a set of in-world news stories, and it sets the event for Halloween itself. Trick-or-treating returns, the Potion Witch comes back with new brews, a new gacha arrives with its own currency, and a large burning creature waits behind a new kind of door. Fruit reworks are not part of the announced plans.

Blox Fruits Halloween 2026 release time: what last year suggests
Gamer Robot has yet to announce a launch time, so last year’s Halloween event offers the best reference. It arrived in the form of Update 28, known as the Tiger Update, which turned Leopard into Tiger and introduced the Werewolf. Roblox categorized it as a Trick-or-Treat event.
| Detail | Halloween 2025 | Halloween 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Teaser bulletin | None | Bulletin #025, Oct 17 |
| Launch date | Oct 31, 2025 | Oct 31, 2026 |
| Launch time | 15:00 UTC (11AM EDT) | Not announced |
| Event end | Nov 30, 2025, 17:00 UTC | Not announced |
| Update label | Update 28 (Tiger) | Not given |
A 15:00 UTC start would repeat last year’s timing, but that is a pattern, not a promise. Some leak accounts call this release “Update 31” or “Update 32.” The developers have not numbered it, so treat any number as a guess.
Some community videos also predicted that the update would drop on a Friday or Saturday a few days after Bulletin #025. The bulletin’s own wording, “on Halloween,” fixes the date at October 31st, which happens to be a Saturday this year.
What the Blox Fruits Halloween update adds
Bulletin #025 is short on numbers but clear about features. This is everything the developers have committed to:
| Feature | What’s confirmed |
|---|---|
| Trick-or-treating | Returns with the Harvest Moon |
| Door encounters | Old encounters plus new ones |
| Mini-games | Hallway creatures, Tarot card deck |
| Jack O’ Lanterns | Alive this year |
| Potion Witch | 2025 potions plus two new ones |
| Spooky Gacha | Run by Zioles, takes Spooky Tokens |
| New boss | Flame-covered creature behind burning doors |
The trick-or-treating doors show up across the towns again. The bulletin promises that “familiar faces” will return alongside stranger new encounters. It says visitors will be pushed into “unusual games,” and it hints at creatures that chase players down hallways and a Tarot deck that tells fortunes. The living Jack O’ Lanterns point to pumpkin enemies roaming the towns. The bulletin warns players to be careful around any pumpkin they find.
The new Halloween boss behind the flame doors
The final bulletin story describes residents disappearing near doors ringed by an unnatural fire. Behind them sits a towering creature wreathed in flame. The bulletin then adds a line comparing it to last year’s boss, warning that the Werewolf “may have been the least of our worries.”
The boss’s name, level, health, and drops have not been announced. Players will likely find it through trick-or-treating, since the burning doors appear among the regular ones. Last year’s Werewolf worked the same way and sets the floor for difficulty. The Unbound Werewolf was a Lv. 3000 raid boss with 215,000 HP. It was reached through a door portal to the Observatory and dropped 400 Candy Corn. Expect the new creature to need a group.
Spooky Gacha and Spooky Tokens
Zioles, the Blox Fruit Gacha NPC who moved to Middle Town in Update 30, is opening a Spooky Gacha for Halloween. It accepts only Spooky Tokens. The bulletin lists these rewards:
- Free potions
- New accessories
- Profile backgrounds
- A mystery grand prize
The bulletin does not explain how to earn Spooky Tokens, and it doesn’t mention Candy Corn at all. Candy Corn was last year’s currency. It was capped at 5,000, and the Halloween Gacha Dealer charged 500 per spin, with up to four spins an hour. That gacha’s grand prize was a physical Werewolf fruit, and its pool also included the Pumpkin Mask and Coven Witch Hat accessories. None of those 2025 numbers should be assumed to carry over to the 2026 gacha.
Potion Witch: Returning and new potions
All of last year’s brews are coming back, along with two new ones that have not been named. In 2025, the Witch stood in Middle Town (First Sea), at the Café (Second Sea), and outside the Mansion (Third Sea). She sold throwable area-of-effect potions and charged fishing materials for them.
| Potion | Effect | 2025 cost |
|---|---|---|
| Disguise Elixir | Turns players into a random boss | Fish Tail + Common fish |
| Suspicious Growth Potion | Randomly grows or shrinks players | Radioactive Material + Uncommon fish |
| Big Head Elixir | Enlarges players’ heads | Common + Uncommon fish |
| Pumpkin Potion | Puts a pumpkin on players’ heads | Bone + Rare fish |
| Lava Bomb Elixir | Damaging magma puddle | Gunpowder + Common, Uncommon, Rare fish |
| Monster Mash Elixir | Forces the Monster Mash dance | 30 Ectoplasm + Common fish |
Each potion affects all players in its vicinity. The shop never offered a seventh potion, Candy Concoction; the Werewolf dropped it, and it awarded Candy Corn. Prices for 2026 remain unconfirmed.
If the Witch keeps charging fish, a stock of Common, Uncommon, and Rare catches gets you brewing on day one.
Venom rework, Shadow rework, and the blood-water teaser
Bulletin #025 does not mention any fruit. A Venom rework or a Shadow rework is not part of the announced Halloween content. Leaks keep linking those reworks to the update anyway. Admin Uzoth has teased a Venom rework separately and has publicly floated a possible rename to Hydra, but nothing ties it to the October 31st release.
Developer Shafii has also shared a clip of a character swimming through water that has turned deep blood red. Some players read it as a hint at Halloween fishing content or mutated fish. No official explanation has been given, and the bulletin doesn’t mention fishing changes.
How to tell the Halloween update is live
The first line of the Blox Fruits Roblox page description currently reads “Magnet + Sea 1 + MORE.” When that line changes to Halloween wording, the update has shipped. In game, the Harvest Moon gives it away. Last year it rose every hour at XX:00 UTC and stayed up for 10 minutes. While it was up, the sky turned orange, pumpkin icons appeared on the compass, and doors could be knocked in all three Seas.
