San Diego Border Roleplay: Best Money Farming Method

Money in San Diego Border Roleplay comes down to two machines: the printers you hide in an apartment and the cabbage farm buried under a beach house. Run one, and you earn slowly. Run both at the same time, and the game’s economy stops being a grind. The catch is that every step in the chain has a legal requirement attached, and skipping one hands your investment to a police officer.

Quick answer: Buy money printers for $20,000 each from the tunnel dealer, carry them back through the legal border checkpoint, and place them in a rented apartment. Once you bank $1 million, buy a beach or summer house, pay $250,000 to unlock the basement, and run the cabbage farm alongside your printers.

Money farm costs and payouts

Every piece of the setup has a fixed price, so you can work out exactly how far away the next upgrade is before you commit cash to it.

Printer income figures vary a lot depending on how many you own and whether they are upgraded. A modest apartment stack of ten standard printers generates roughly $100 every 60 seconds, while upgraded setups are reported to pay out at dramatically higher per-second rates. Treat the printers as the slow, always-on baseline and the farm as the big payout.

If you can’t afford the first printer

$20,000 is a real barrier when you spawn in broke. The fastest way past it is to switch to the Police team and take printers off other players instead of buying your own. Patrol the apartment complex with your game volume turned up, since an active printer hums loudly enough to hear through a door.

Once you find an occupied room, pull up the tablet and run the player’s name through the Police Database. An immigration check reveals whether they crossed the border illegally, which is what gives you a valid warrant. With the warrant active, use Force Entry and confiscate everything inside — each printer pays around $10,000, so a single well-stocked apartment can fund your entire civilian setup. Forcing entry without a warrant breaks the game’s roleplay rules and can land you in moderation trouble.

Smuggling works too. Fake Diamond Rings bought at the Black Market sell to the Garage Smuggler on the parking garage roof for up to $11,000 a run, and low-detection goods like Wagyu Beef are a safer way to build a first bankroll.

Buy money printers and cross the border legally

Play as a Civilian and spawn a vehicle from the tablets by the parking lot. Drive along the main road toward the border crossing, but do not enter the checkpoint yet.

Just before the checkpoint, take the right turn to find the hidden tunnel entrance. Follow the tunnel on foot until you reach the dealer NPC.

Interact with the dealer and select Buy Money Printer at a cost of $20,000. Buy as many as your cash allows, or pay extra for a Super Money Printer if you want the faster print rate.

Leave the way you came and drive to the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Crossing through the proper checkpoint is the entire point — walking out the far end of the tunnel counts as illegal entry, which flags you for a warrant and lets any officer seize the printers you just paid for.

Set up printers in an apartment

Head to the apartment complex on the US side and claim an unoccupied room. Pick something on a high floor toward the back of the building, since patrolling officers listen for the printer hum from the hallway.

Drop each printer inside the room and spread them out across the floor. The game blocks you from piling them up and will tell you outright that you can’t stack money printers and boosters on top of each other.

Close the door behind you and leave the printers running. Many players use an auto-clicker purely to avoid the Roblox idle kick so the printers keep earning while they are away from the keyboard.

Check your cash counter after a minute. A running printer adds money on a timer without any further input, so if the number climbs while you stand still, the setup is live. If it doesn’t move, the printers were never placed properly.

Unlock the beach house cabbage farm

The printers exist to get you to $1 million. That is the price of a beach house or summer house, and it is where the real income starts.

Buy the beach house once you have $1 million banked. Construction takes 24 hours of real time to complete, and you do not need to stay online while it finishes — your printers can keep running in the meantime.

When the house is built, pay the additional $250,000 to unlock the basement. That purchase is what opens the underground farm.

Go down to the farm and use the laptop to buy cabbage seeds. Plant them and leave; crops take roughly an hour to mature, which is exactly the window you should spend AFK with the printers.

Return to the laptop and choose the sell cabbages option. A truck spawns outside, and you have to drive the shipment to Legal Storage Solutions yourself to get paid.

Bank the payout. A completed delivery pays a base of about $192,000, plus a server bonus that scales with the player count — roughly $57,000 extra on a server holding around 30 people. The house safe stores up to $10 million, so use it rather than walking around with the cash.

Note: every delivery raises your heat level. At 50 percent or higher, police can raid the farm and confiscate your crop. Heat decays over time, so spacing out deliveries protects the operation.

Why the farm stops paying

Nearly every failed setup comes down to one of a handful of causes, and all of them are avoidable.
