The Trident of the Shells is an exclusive reward tucked behind a two-part scavenger hunt on the Dress to Impress beach map. You first open a sealed Cave beside the Scarlet NPC by collecting five colored gems, then track down three seashells hidden inside the Cave and place them on a pedestal to reveal the secret room where the Trident sits.
Quick answer: Gather all five gems to open the Cave next to the Scarlet NPC, collect the three seashells inside (on the wrecked ship’s barrel, in a cracked barrel on the ground, and on top of the white arch), and set each one on the pedestal opposite the third seashell to open the room holding the Trident of the Shells.
Dress to Impress runs on timed rounds, cycling between an intermission where you lock in a theme and a runway walk. Do your hunting during free time on the beach map rather than mid-round.
Collect all five gems to open the Cave
The Cave stays locked until you finish five separate mini-tasks, each tied to a gem of a different color. Complete every one, and the entrance near the Scarlet NPC opens.

Note: The Red Gem is also described as a seagull ring-collecting mini-game in some versions of the quest, so interact with whichever bird prompt appears and finish the aerial challenge.
Find all 3 seashells inside the Cave
Once the Cave is open, three seashells are waiting inside. You can only carry one at a time, so collect a shell, place it, then return for the next.
Each time you pick up a shell, carry it to the pedestal area directly opposite the third seashell location and set it down. Repeat until all three are placed.
Claim the Trident of the Shells and Seashell Crown
With all three seashells resting on the pedestal, a barrier opens behind that area and reveals a hidden cavern. The Trident of the Shells stands at the center, ready to be claimed.
Walk a little past the Trident to find a second reward. The Seashell Crown sits on top of an anchor behind it, so grab both while you are in the room.
You know it worked when both items appear in your inventory. The Trident and Seashell Crown are cosmetic accessories, so open the Dressing Room and equip them from the accessory tabs before the next runway walk.
If the pedestal room does not open, one of the shells is missing or still in your hands rather than placed, so recheck all three positions and confirm each is set down. Both rewards are permanent once collected, giving you a themed trident-and-crown set to style into ocean, mermaid, or pirate looks on the runway.
