How much VC Episode 1 pays out

Completing every scored question in Episode 1 earns you a lump of VC for the opening days of the game. The season premiere is typically the largest single 2KTV payout, which makes it worth clearing early when VC matters most for attribute upgrades.

You will know it worked when the VC total updates after the episode wraps and the episode shows as completed in the 2KTV tab. If a question closes before you answer, you forfeit only that question’s reward, not the whole episode.

Where to watch 2KTV and trigger the questions

Open the 2KTV tab from the main menu, usually on the far right. This is the fastest route to the episode.
Select Episode 1 to start playback. On console you can press Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox) to browse available episodes, and you can also reach 2KTV through the MyCAREER pause menu under Options/Features.
Let the episode run without skipping. The questions are spaced throughout, and skipping ahead can bypass a prompt and cost you its VC. Answer each one as it appears within the 10-second window.

You can also watch 2KTV on screens around The City, in your MyCourt, or through the in-game phone app. Questions can pop up while MyCAREER games load too, but only if you haven’t finished the week’s episode yet.

Tip: An episode runs roughly 15 to 30 minutes. If you aren’t interested in the video itself, leave it playing in the background and only check in when a question appears.

When Episode 2 arrives

New 2KTV episodes generally release weekly on Friday evenings for players in the US, around 8 PM ET. Episode 2 is expected to land on September 4th, which lines up with the game’s full launch. Episodes remain available afterward, so there’s no penalty for catching up later if you miss one.

Episode 1 kicked off Season 13 of 2KTV during early access, and since answers stay fixed once an episode airs, you can complete it at any point to bank the VC. Keep the table above open, and you’ll clear all 13 questions in a single sitting.
