Kaiju Alpha: How to Get Cells Fast and Level Up in Tokyo

Destroying dense city blocks in a quiet corner of Tokyo is the fastest, safest way to bank Cells and XP early.

Destroying dense city blocks in a quiet corner of Tokyo is the fastest, safest way to bank Cells and XP early.

Cells are the currency you spend to unlock and progress most of the roster in Kaiju Alpha, and the quickest way to stockpile them early is to smash buildings in a spot where no other players can reach you. XP and Cells both come out of destruction, so the same farming loop levels your Kaiju and funds your next unlock at the same time.

Quick answer: Spawn on the Tokyo map, move to an isolated area away from other players, and destroy buildings on a loop. You know it is working when your level climbs and your Cell count rises after each structure falls.

Pick a free Kaiju that can farm

You do not need to spend Robux to start earning Cells. Several Kaiju cost nothing, and the goal is to select one that can clear buildings quickly without dying to aggressive players. Gojira 1955 is a strong free pick because its kit covers close and area damage.

Avoid Gezora as a starter. It performs poorly in the early game and leaves you exposed when other players attack. Switch to a sturdier free option before committing to a farming run.

Here are the free Kaiju you can equip without spending Cells or Robux.

Gojira 1955 uses key 1 for Bite, 2 for Stomp, 3 for Tail Whip, and 4 for Atomic. Roars are on R and T, and LSHIFT lets you sprint between blocks. Learn these before you farm so you are not fumbling inputs while buildings sit untouched.

Farm Cells and XP by destroying buildings in Tokyo

The core loop is simple. Destroying buildings awards both Cells and XP, so you want to spend as much time as possible attacking structures and as little time as possible fighting other players. The safest place to do this is a quiet part of the Tokyo map.

Equip a capable free Kaiju such as Gojira 1955 from the Kaiju List, then spawn into the Tokyo map.
Move away from the crowded center toward an empty area where other players are not fighting. This keeps you alive long enough to actually earn rewards.

Start smashing buildings. Cycle your attacks so you are always hitting a structure, and favor blocks where several buildings sit close together so more of them fall per attack.

When a block is cleared, move to the next one and keep the loop going. This same routine took a fresh Kaiju from Level 2 up to Level 10 while Cells accumulated the whole time.

Note: The biggest threat to this method is dying to another player mid-loop, which resets your momentum. If someone chases you into your farming spot, relocate rather than trying to win a fight you did not prepare for.

Where your Cells go: Kaiju unlock costs

Once you have a steady flow of Cells, spend them with a plan. Cheaper Kaiju are useful stepping stones, while the higher-cost options are longer-term goals worth saving toward. These are the Cell prices for the roster you can buy directly.

KaijuCell Cost
Gojira 19541,000 Cells
Minilla1,000 Cells
Mothra Larva1,000 Cells
Gorosaurus5,750 Cells
Showa Jet Jaguar10,250 Cells
Showa Hedorah16,000 Cells
Showa Gigan35,000 Cells
Megalon40,000 Cells

Showa Ghidorah is not bought with Cells at all. It unlocks for group members instead, so joining the game’s community group is the requirement there.

Buying Cells and boosts with Robux

If you would rather skip the grind, the shop sells Cells directly and offers temporary boosts that raise your Cell and XP gains. Bundles also pair Cells with exclusive Kaiju.

Boosts are timed multipliers rather than permanent upgrades. They pair well with a building loop because you can bank far more from the same session.

You can also buy levels outright if you want to skip ahead. A single level costs 25 Robux, and a bundle of ten levels costs 249 Robux.

Redeeming codes in the Options menu

If you have a working code, redeem it from the Options menu in the main lobby. Open that menu and look for the box labeled Code with the Enter here field, type the code, and confirm.

The same Options menu also holds gameplay settings you may want to adjust before a long farming session, including Fast Mode, Toggle Sprint, Camera Shake, Time of Day, and Kill Indicator.

Stick with a free farmer, keep your loop in a quiet corner of Tokyo, and let building destruction carry both your level and your Cell count upward. Once you have a comfortable surplus, spend it on the cheaper unlocks first and save toward the higher-cost Kaiju rather than emptying your bank on the first expensive name you see.
