My Timber Pets on Roblox: How Cash Per Log Scales

A breakdown of forest multipliers, pet mutations, Auto Roll targeting, and the boosts that raise wood payouts.

A breakdown of forest multipliers, pet mutations, Auto Roll targeting, and the boosts that raise wood payouts.

My Timber Pets, a tycoon-style Roblox game from WingBrain, runs on one simple loop. Pets chop trees, wood piles up, you sell it, and the cash buys better pets and a bigger forest. What separates a base earning a few dollars a log from one earning billions is not luck alone — it’s the way two separate multipliers stack on top of each other.

Quick answer: Raise your Forest Level (each level adds another wood multiplier, up to x10) and roll pets with higher mutation tiers (Gold → Diamond → Demon → Galaxy), then open your backpack and hit Equip Best so the highest-earning pets fill your active slots.

How cash per log works

Every equipped pet has a value attached to it, shown as a dollar figure per wood or per log. That number climbs when you level the pet up with cash, and it climbs far harder when the pet carries a rare mutation. A Demon Cow, once upgraded, sits at roughly $1.02M per wood; push its level further and it moves to about $3.9M per wood.

Forest Level is the second half of the equation. It applies a flat wood multiplier to your whole base, so it benefits every pet you own at the same time. That’s why forest upgrades are usually worth buying the moment you can afford them, even if the cash could go toward another pet.

Pet rarity tiers and mutation tiers

Two separate scales apply to each pet, and the index screen tracks both. Rarity describes how hard the pet is to roll. Mutation is the cosmetic-and-value layer stamped on top of it, and it is what actually drives the big payout jumps.

ScaleTiers, lowest to highest
RarityCommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Cosmic, Secret, GOD, Exclusive
MutationNormal, Gold, Diamond, Demon, Galaxy

You start with whatever the worker roulette gives you — a Common Chicken is a typical first pull — and upgrade it while you save. Early pets like a Frog or a Turtle are placeholders. They exist to keep wood moving until a mutation shows up.

The odds spread out fast at the top end. Here’s how some of the higher pulls compare, along with what they’re worth once levelled.

PetOddsPayout or cost
Demon Cow1 in 10K$1.02M per wood upgraded
Galaxy Bull1 in 22.5K
Demon Bear1 in 500K$46.6M per log
Secret Lion1 in 30M
Galaxy Triceratops1 in 100M
Diamond Wooly Mammoth1 in 500M
Diamond Elephant1 in 2BCosts $76.8B to buy
Galaxy Brachiosaurus1 in 12B$31B per log
Demon Ankylosaurus1 in 22B

Note: rolling a pet and owning it are separate things. Several high-tier pulls come with a purchase price attached, so a monster roll you can’t afford will sit there until you grind the cash. A Demon Bull runs $67.2M; the Diamond Elephant is far steeper.

Forest Level upgrades and wood multipliers

Forest Level lives in the Base Upgrades menu. Each purchase swaps the island’s environment and bumps the wood multiplier one step higher, capping at x10. The visual change is the fastest way to confirm the upgrade landed.

Floor upgrades and worker slots

Multipliers only matter if you have somewhere to put your pets. Worker slots unlock individually with cash, and once the ground floor fills up, a Floor Upgrade adds a whole new level of slots above it. The first one costs $2.5M, and the base can reach three floors in total.

After any big roll, open the backpack and use Equip Best. It sorts your collection by earnings and slots the top performers automatically, which saves you from manually swapping out a golden duck for a Demon Wolf every time.

Upgrade tree: Luck, Chop Time and Storage

The upgrade tree unlocks shortly after your first sale and holds three core lines. Luck improves your roll quality, Chop Time speeds up how fast pets fell a tree, and Storage raises how much wood you can hold before you have to sell.

Storage is the one people underrate. If your cap is too low, pets stop producing while your wood sits full and you’re effectively idle. Beyond the core three, there are separate upgrades for spin slots, spin speed and tree respawn time — respawn matters once your pets chop faster than the forest regrows.

Auto Roll targeting for high-rarity pets

Auto Roll is a Robux purchase that spins for you continuously and stops when it hits a rarity or mutation you’ve selected. You set the targets yourself, so it doubles as a filter — leave everything checked and it halts constantly on junk pulls.

Early on, targeting Cosmic and up alongside Diamond mutations keeps it useful. Once your base is producing tens of millions per log, narrow it to Secret, GOD and Exclusive so it ignores anything that wouldn’t beat what you already have equipped.

Free rewards and Robux boosts

Not everything that speeds up income costs Robux. Joining the group and liking the game unlocks a free money reward — around $2.1K on the daily streak — and Playtime Rewards accumulate while you’re in a server. Playtime payouts scale with how far your base has progressed, so late-game claims can run into the trillions.

The paid options split into permanent boosts and consumables.

Checking that your income went up

Three things confirm an upgrade actually took effect. The per-log figure on the pet card should show a higher dollar amount, the island’s environment should visibly change after a Forest Level purchase, and the leaderboard rank should shift after your next few sales.

If your numbers stall despite good pulls, the usual causes are narrow. Either the pet you rolled is still sitting unpurchased because you can’t afford it, your new pet is in the backpack but never equipped, or your storage cap filled and production stopped. Running Equip Best and selling a full load clears the last two immediately.

The ceiling here is high enough that a fully built base looks nothing like where you started — GOD-tier pets like a Triple Cobra or T-Rex sitting past level 40, three floors of slots, and a mushroom forest running a x10 multiplier underneath all of it. Getting there is mostly about not letting one system lag far behind the others.
