Snezhnaya is now the setting for the rest of Genshin Impact’s story, and the leaked release order for the region’s cast stretches all the way to Version 7.8. The current roadmap covers eight patches, a rotating list of new five-stars, and a run of estimated dates that begins after Version 7.0 wraps up. None of it past 7.0 is official, and the order has already been reshuffled once.
Quick answer: The leaked order runs Vesna and Vodyanitsa in 7.1, Mitya and Valeriy in 7.2, the Tsaritsa and Danica in 7.3, a Pyro five-star in 7.4, Enjou in 7.5, Noy in 7.6, an unnamed character in 7.7, and Dainsleif in 7.8 — treat every patch after 7.0 as unconfirmed.
The full 7.1 to 7.8 roadmap and estimated dates
The dates below follow Genshin’s usual six-week patch cadence, counted forward from the confirmed Version 7.0 schedule. HoYoverse has not announced any of them, and it has already shown a willingness to change the calendar — Version 6.8 was skipped outright, with the game jumping from 6.7 to 7.0 on August 12, 2026.

Note: the slots for Enjou and Noy have moved between versions across different leak waves, with Noy previously placed in 7.5 and Enjou’s patch listed later. The pairing of characters within each version is more stable than the exact version number attached to it.
Version 7.1: Vesna and Vodyanitsa
Vesna is the character the Stellar Swirl reaction was built around. She leads the Druzhna, the order that serves the Tsaritsa, and her Anemo Vision was visible in the Transcendence Trailer “Sudden Snow.” She is described as an on-field five-star Anemo sword DPS with a kit that leans on aerial combat rather than the usual Anemo traversal role — unusual for the element, which normally sits off-field.
Vodyanitsa is the Prima Soprano of the Korolevskiy Troupe and a Snowland Fae of the Siren subtype. She sings while casting her skills, a first for the game. Her element was mislabelled as Electro early on, but the trailer showed a Hydro Vision on her back. Leaks put her on catalyst as a support and buffer for Stellar Swirl, Cryo and Freeze teams, with an Anemo resistance shred tied to the party triggering Stellar Swirl and a burst that is pure healing.
Skirk and Escoffier have also been mentioned in connection with 7.1, alongside a rumored Zibai and Linnea rerun for the Lunar-Crystallize crowd. Phase order for the patch is not settled, and the 7.1 Special Program has not aired.
Version 7.2: Mitya and Valeriy
Version 7.2 is the Electro patch. Mitya is a five-star catalyst user built around Stellar Conduct, the Cryo-plus-Electro reaction that has been live since 6.7, and he is described variously as a main DPS or an off-field sub-DPS depending on the leak. Valeriy is his four-star counterpart, an Electro sword user framed as a shielder.
Version 7.3: The Tsaritsa and Danica
This is the patch most players are saving for. The Cryo Archon, referred to in community usage as Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, is expected to headline around the climax of the Archon Quest. She is a five-star Cryo unit, though her weapon type is contested — some leaks list a bow tied to Stellar Conduct and Swirl, others a polearm. Version 7.2 has not been ruled out as her release window.
Danica is listed alongside her as a five-star Electro character, described as a healer, buffer or shielder depending on the source, using either a bow or a catalyst.
Tip: a guaranteed limited five-star costs up to 180 wishes, or 28,800 Primogems, from zero pity with no guarantee. If the Tsaritsa is the target, 7.1 and 7.2 are saving windows.
Version 7.4: A Pyro five-star and older character buffs
Version 7.4 lands in the slot Genshin normally reserves for Lantern Rite, which historically means a Liyue debut. A five-star Pyro female and a four-star Dendro catalyst male are attached to the patch, with a “grandma” character floated as the identity behind the Pyro slot.
Separately, 7.4 is rumored to carry movement mechanic buffs for older units, with Xiao named among them. Other characters that come up in the same discussion include Shenhe, Ganyu, Ayaka, Faruzan, Lynette and Layla.
Version 7.5: Enjou, the first playable Abyss Lector
Enjou is the unusual entry on the roadmap. He would be the first Abyss Lector to become playable, an enemy archetype rather than a member of a region’s cast. His element, weapon type and release phase have not surfaced with any consistency.
Version 7.6: Noy and a possible Dendro-Cryo reaction
Noy is described as a five-star Dendro sword user, positioned as a support for a new reaction that triggers when Cryo meets Dendro. That combination currently does nothing in Genshin, so a Dendro-Cryo interaction would be a genuine system addition rather than a variant of an existing one. Nothing about the reaction’s damage model or trigger conditions has been detailed.
Versions 7.7 and 7.8: An unnamed character and Dainsleif
Version 7.7 has the thinnest entry on the roadmap — a single unnamed female character, elsewhere described as white-haired, five-star, and either Cryo or Electro. No weapon type or role has been attached to her.
Version 7.8 closes the roadmap with Dainsleif, the Bough Keeper who has narrated the Traveler’s journey since launch and appeared in story content without ever being playable. He sits at the far end of the leak chain, roughly eleven months out from the current patch, which makes him the single least reliable entry on the list.
What is confirmed versus what is not
Everything through Version 7.0 came from HoYoverse directly. Odette, a five-star Cryo sword support built around the Stellar reactions, headlined Phase 1 from August 12 alongside an Arlecchino rerun. Alyosha, a four-star Electro polearm user, is free from Archon Quest Chapter VII, Act I. Phase 2 began September 1 with Flins and Ineffa reruns and no new five-star.

Beta clients pin down mechanics but not numbers, and numbers move between builds. Version placement is the least stable part of any roadmap this long — Vodyanitsa was pegged for 7.0 before the order flipped, Pantalone fell out of 7.0 entirely and has no patch attached anymore, and elements have been corrected mid-cycle. The 7.1 Special Program, which typically airs 10 to 14 days before a patch goes live, is the first point at which any of the versions past 7.0 stops being guesswork.
