Steal An Egg Fuse Machine Guide for Roblox Pet Fusions

How three matching pets, scaling cash costs, and mutation chances decide whether merging duplicates raises your money per second.

How three matching pets, scaling cash costs, and mutation chances decide whether merging duplicates raises your money per second.

The Fuse Machine is the duplicate-recycling system in Steal An Egg. It takes three copies of the same pet, destroys all three, and hands back a single egg of that species that may earn more cash per second than the pets you gave up — and, with luck, arrives with a mutation attached.

Quick answer: Bring three identical pets to the Fuse Machine, load one into each of the three slots, and pay the cash fee shown on the fuse button. You get one egg of that pet back, which still has to hatch before it earns anything.

Fuse Machine requirements in Steal An Egg

There is exactly one entry condition. The machine reads “Bring 3 same Pets to Fuse,” and it means identical pets, not three pets of the same rarity. Three Walruses work. A Walrus, an Axolotl, and a Golden Bear do not.

The Fuse Machine only accepts three copies of the same pet species.

The machine sits in the safe zone near your base, and it tracks progress on its face as a counter. A machine reading 0/3 is empty, 2/3 means you still owe it one more copy, and the menu mirrors that with a “3 Pet Left” or “1 Pet Left” note next to the empty slots. You can walk up and use it whenever you have the pets and the cash, with no cooldown gating access.

The second requirement is money. Every fusion charges a cash fee that scales with how strong the pets are, so stacking three high-tier duplicates is far more expensive than clearing out three early-area animals.

How to fuse three pets

Collect three copies of the same pet. If you are one short, the fastest route is usually to fly back to the zone that drops that species, steal the egg, escape to base, and let it hatch — the Growing Eggs timer on the sidebar shows how long that takes.
Walk up to the Fuse Machine in the safe zone and interact with it to open the Fuse Pets menu. Empty slots appear as green plus buttons, one for each of the three pets it wants.

Tap a plus button to open the pet list, pick the copy you want to sacrifice, and confirm it with OK. Repeat until all three slots are filled and the counter reads 3/3.

Press the fuse button and pay the listed cash fee. The three pets are consumed immediately and a confirmation appears naming what you received, such as “You fused Walrus Egg” or “You fused Cosmic Gecko Egg.”
Let the egg hatch, then equip the pet. Nothing changes on your income counter until you place the hatched pet, and you will see a “Successfully equipped” message plus an updated offline earnings figure when it lands.

Fusion costs by pet tier

The fee is set by what you are feeding the machine. These are real examples of what a single fusion charges, and they show how steeply the price climbs as you move into later zones.

Pets fused (three of each)Cash cost
Walrus$310K
Cosmic Gecko$23M
Legendary Shark$80M
Orca$284M

Note: prices shift with game updates, so treat the number printed on the fuse button in your server as the real one.

Mutations and what fusing does not carry over

The reason to fuse at all is the mutation roll. A fused pet can come out mutated, and a mutation multiplies its money generation well beyond the pets that went into the machine. That is the upside the whole system is built around.

The catch is that mutations do not inherit. Feeding the machine a pet that is already mutated does not guarantee a mutated result, and the machine happily consumes it either way. Keep mutated pets out of the slots — you are gambling away a confirmed income boost for a chance at another one.

The machine also hints at its own odds with the line “Better pets give more Luck!” Higher-quality inputs improve your chance of a stronger result, which is why fusing three late-zone duplicates is a better roll than fusing three starter animals — it just costs far more to attempt.

When fusing lowers your money per second

Three pets go in and one comes out. If those three were your top earners, your total income drops the moment you press fuse, and the replacement has to beat all three combined just to break even. That rarely happens.

Check each pet’s money-per-second value on your base before committing anything. Bases running big earners can be pulling $1.6M/s or more, and a display showing $1B or $1.6B per day offline is a fast way to see what a slot is actually worth to you.

The practical rule is to fuse surplus and weak duplicates only. Copies sitting outside your active lineup contribute nothing, so turning them into one roll costs you no income at all. Treat the machine as duplicate cleanup with a lottery ticket attached, not as a primary way to grow your earnings.

Confirming the fusion worked and why it fails

Success is unambiguous. The three input pets disappear from your inventory, a “You fused [Pet] Egg” message appears on screen, and the new egg joins your hatching queue. Once it hatches and you equip it, your offline earnings figure updates to reflect the new pet.

If the fuse button will not fire, there are only a few reasons. One or more slots are still empty, so the counter shows a “Pet Left” warning. The pets you loaded are not the same species. Or you do not have enough cash to cover the fee, which is easy to miss on the expensive late-zone fusions.

Duplicates get rarer the deeper you push into new areas, so the Fuse Machine tends to matter most for players who have been farming the same zone long enough to stack triples. Until then, the copies are usually worth more sitting on your base and earning.
