CookieRun: Crumble Guild Conquest – Best Team and Tips to Score Higher

How to build the Extra-Stuffed Piñata lineup, set Pets and Runes, and time your best run of the season.

How to build the Extra-Stuffed Piñata lineup, set Pets and Runes, and time your best run of the season.

Guild Conquest is the cooperative mode CookieRun: Crumble added on August 27, and it works differently from every other fight in the game. Your damage against the Extra-Stuffed Piñata is converted into points, those points stack with your Guildmates’, and the total gets ranked weekly inside a Group of five Guilds and against every other Guild. Rewards come back as Guild Medals, honor rewards, and Diamonds. One good run can pull a whole Guild up a bracket.

Quick answer: Build a single-target team around Scorpion with DEF Down, CRIT buffs, and Lift Resistance, reclaim EXP from unused Cookies to level that team as high as it will go, then run the Piñata three to five times and lock in your best score on the final day of the season.

How Guild Conquest scoring works

The Piñata is a Dark boss, so Light attackers hit harder against it. That is the only fixed advantage in the fight. Everything else is variance. Targeting, crit rolls, debuff application, and skill cast timing all shift between attempts, which is why the same account with the same Runes can post wildly different numbers.

The swing is large enough that a single run tells you almost nothing. Four attempts with only minor lineup changes can look like this:

Lineup usedScore
Full team, first attempt1,331,406,585
Same team, repeat run1,729,497,741
Nameless Cake Hound instead of Tea Knight1,503,723,252
Strawberry Crepe instead of Melon Soda1,606,809,992

The second run beat the first by roughly 400 million damage with nothing changed. Entries are unlimited, so treat every attempt as a roll and keep the best result rather than averaging your luck.

Every Cookie’s job against the Extra-Stuffed Piñata

Do not stuff the formation with Light Cookies just because the boss is Dark. All twelve slots need a job, and if one of those jobs disappears, another damage dealer rarely makes up the loss. Check roles before you check Power totals.

Scorpion is the one to invest in first. Five stars makes her damage over time land far more reliably, and reliability is worth more here than a single lucky spike. Volley Synergy is worth keeping active as well; Tiger Lily is the usual provider, and Herb Cookie or Cheesecake Cookie can fill in if she is missing.

Two more details matter. CRIT Chance does not go dead at 100% here, since chance above 100% can roll a double crit and above 200% a triple crit, which is why Macaron and Skating Queen stay paired. And Pinot Noir’s Healing Received Down does nothing to this boss, so she is in the lineup purely for Lift Resistance and her synergy.

Tea Knight Cookie is an SSR Light Tank you cannot pull from any banner. He exists only in the Guild Medal Exchange, and his Boss DMG buff applies to your entire formation, which makes him the single most valuable purchase in the store for this mode. Skip the cheap filler and bank medals until you can max him out. More Boss DMG means more damage, which means more medals, which is how the mode snowballs.

When Tea Knight is ready, the swap order matters. Brightseeker replaces Wind Archer or Milky Way. Tea Knight replaces whichever of Rye or Melon Soda is weaker on your account. Dark Choco stays, because dropping DEF Down cancels out most of the gain you were expecting from the new Cookie. Devil Cookie can cover DEF Down on some rosters, but Dark Choco is the safer default.

If you do not have the premium units yet, the substitutes hold up. Nameless Cake Hound covers for Tea Knight, and Popcorn Cookie or any strong damage dealer covers for Brightseeker. Strawberry Crepe and Vampire are both usable in the flexible damage slots.

Pet loadout for the Piñata fight

Run Holy Baby Drop, Hot Doggie, and Panda Dumpling together. Holy Baby Drop raises allied ATK, Hot Doggie supplies Skill Amp Up, and Panda Dumpling completes the anti-lift package alongside Pinot Noir. Getting lifted costs you casts, and lost casts cost far more damage than a flashier offensive Pet returns.

Octo-Wasabi is the alternative worth testing if your damage dealers are built around Duration Synergy. Chargemellow, the SSR Pet added alongside the mode, grants Rapid Fire Synergy if your lineup leans that way instead.

Sugar Rune priorities by role

Damage dealers all start from the same three stats, and supports need slightly different handling depending on what they are checking.

CookieRune priority
Damage dealers (Rye, Melon Soda, Wind Archer, Milky Way, Brightseeker)ATK Amp, Skill Amp, Skill Haste
ScorpionSkill Haste, Skill Amp, ATK Amp, plus Focus when the DoT misses
Macaron, Pomegranate, Skating Queen, Tiger Lily, Milk Cookie’s Crunchy Strong PediatricianSkill Haste and Skill Amp
Pinot NoirFocus, Skill Haste, ATK Amp
Dark ChocoFocus and Skill Haste, plus defense if he dies early
Nameless Cake HoundSkill Haste and HP Amp

Note: Skill Amp no longer strengthens Dark Choco’s DEF Down, and it does nothing for Pinot Noir’s Healing Received Down. Do not burn rerolls chasing either. Fix Scorpion’s page first, then whichever support keeps dying, then the better of Rye and Melon Soda. Rebuilding twelve Rune pages in one sitting is a waste of materials.

Reclaim EXP from unused Cookies before your run

Levels feed directly into damage, and most accounts have EXP sitting in Cookies that will never see the Piñata. The Reset Level feature returns that EXP so you can push your Conquest twelve as high as your roster allows.

Bookmark or favorite the twelve Cookies in your Guild Conquest team. Favorited Cookies stay pinned to the top of the roster list, which keeps them out of the way while you reset everything else.
Open each unused Cookie and use Reset Level to reclaim its EXP. Work down the list of units you are not fielding in any active team.
Pour the reclaimed EXP into your Conquest lineup using Level Up Lineup, then run Promote All so nothing is left sitting at a lower star than it could be.

You will know it worked when the levels on your twelve Conquest Cookies climb and your team Power figure rises before you queue into the boss.

Time your scoring run for the last day of the season

Your team keeps getting stronger across a season as Runes, levels, and medal purchases accumulate. Since entries are unlimited, do your experimenting early and save the run that counts for the final day, when the lineup is at its peak.

When you do test, change one thing at a time. Swap Wind Archer for Milky Way, run three times, compare. Then add Brightseeker and run again. Wind Archer generally comes out ahead when both are equally invested, but a five-star Milky Way with finished Runes will beat an underbuilt TSSR, so let your own scores decide rather than the rarity label.

Why your score stays low

If the number swings between runs but every Cookie survives, the lineup is fine and you simply need more attempts. If the same Cookie dies early every single time, fix that Rune page or add defense before you touch the damage core.

The other common causes are structural. A formation with no DEF Down, no Lift Resistance, or no CRIT support is leaking damage no matter how much Power it shows. Scorpion below five stars will miss her damage over time often enough to make results unreadable. And dropping Dark Choco to make room for a shiny new Cookie is the single most expensive mistake in the mode.

Guild Conquest rewards patience more than perfection. Get the twelve jobs covered, keep the three Pets together, bank your medals for Tea Knight, and then let the retries do the rest.
