Magnet is the headline fruit of Update 30 in Blox Fruits, and it does not behave like a normal projectile fruit. Its damage, combo length, and pull range all key off a meter you build during a fight and lose when you get hit. Fill that meter completely and you turn into a mech.
Quick answer: Magnet is a Mythical Natural-type fruit costing $6,000,000 or R$ 3,500 from the Blox Fruit Dealer. It unlocks Scrap Arsenal [Z] at Mastery 1, Polarity Drive [F] at 75, Magnetic Overcharge [X] at 100, Polarizing Drop [C] at 225, and the Maximum Overdrive [V] transformation at 300.
Magnet fruit rarity, type, and price in Blox Fruits
Magnet sits in the Mythical tier alongside fruits like Kitsune, Gravity, and Dragon. It is a Natural-type fruit, it can M1, and it supports both flight and a transformation, which is a rare combination. It arrived with Update 30 in Blox Fruits on Roblox.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Natural |
| Rarity | Mythical |
| Beli price | $ 6,000,000 |
| Robux price | R$ 3,500 |
| Can M1 | Yes |
| Released in | Update 30 |
The fruit rotates through the Blox Fruit Dealer’s stock like any other fruit, and a permanent version is sold in the fruit shop. Equipping a permanent copy from the shop shows the confirmation Redeemed <Permanent Magnet>! and marks the entry as Magnet (OWNED).

Magnetic Power: the passive that drives every Magnet ability
Once the fruit is active you get a bar labelled Magnetic Power [1/3]. You fill it by walking over the blue glowing scrap that spawns during combat. As it fills, the two mechanical arms floating beside your character grow larger and their thruster flames get bigger, which is your visual cue for the current stage.
| Stage | What changes |
|---|---|
| Stage 1 | Arms start to enlarge. Base M1 combo length and standard damage. |
| Stage 2 | Arms grow noticeably. Longer M1 combo, harder hits, and nearby enemies are pulled toward you automatically. |
| Stage 3 | Arms at maximum size. Longest M1 combo, widest automatic pull radius, and the highest passive defense bonus. |
The passive pull at Stage 2 and Stage 3 reaches further out and further up, so opponents trying to fight you from above are not safe either. Higher stages also raise your passive defense, which is why the meter matters even when you are not using an ability.
Note: Taking damage drains Magnetic Power. Get hit enough near a threshold and you drop back a stage, losing the longer combo and the pull radius with it. An opponent who keeps landing hits can keep you off Stage 3 permanently.

Magnet moveset and mastery requirements
Only Scrap Arsenal is available the moment you equip the fruit. Everything else is gated behind mastery, and the transformation sits at the far end of the track at Mastery 300.
| Key | Move | Mastery |
|---|---|---|
| Z | Scrap Arsenal | 1 |
| F | Polarity Drive | 75 |
| X | Magnetic Overcharge | 100 |
| C | Polarizing Drop | 225 |
| V | Maximum Overdrive | 300 |
Every ability has a tap version and a hold version, and the two often do completely different jobs. The hold on C, for example, is not an attack at all, it is how you refill the meter in a hurry.

| Key | Tap | Hold |
|---|---|---|
| Z | Fires magnetic projectiles that explode and pull enemies in; stacking them widens the area and strengthens the pull. | Charges a beam that fires on release for bonus damage on a direct hit. |
| X | Traps and stuns the target inside a small magnetic cage. | A larger cage with a wider stun radius and more range. |
| C | Grabs the target, drags them upward, and slams them into the ground. | Pulls in every nearby enemy and all loose scrap on the field, absorbing it. |
| F | Grabs an opponent and forcibly unequips their sword. | Enters free flight; you can still use other skills, and pressing again launches the jetpacks as projectiles. |
The forced disarm on F tap is the one to plan around in PvP. A sword build that loses its blade mid-fight has to fall back on fists or fruit moves until it re-equips. Flight from F hold is cancelled if you take repeated hits within about ten seconds of activating it.

Maximum Overdrive: the mech transformation and its moves
With Magnetic Power at Stage 3 and Mastery 300 reached, V turns you into a mech construct that is visibly larger than the Buddha transformation, complete with a jetpack. It comes with its own passive layer, listed on the fruit as Overdrive Armor.
- Damage taken is reduced across the board.
- Guns are far less effective against the mech.
- Lightning attacks deal increased damage, the one clear weakness.
- The X and C hold moves cannot be interrupted, giving you super armor during the biggest hits.
| Key | Effect while transformed |
|---|---|
| Z tap | Fires homing missiles with aim assistance. |
| Z hold | Charges and releases a large cannon blast. |
| X tap | A ground shockwave strike. |
| X hold | Magnetic Room. Pulls every nearby enemy in and drags anyone who dashes back to the centre while dealing continuous damage. |
| C tap | Pulls in a pile of scrap and slams it down for wide area damage. |
| C hold | A spinning helicopter attack that hits everything around you. |
| F tap | The same forced sword unequip as the base form, with a dash explosion. |
| F hold | Faster flight, better suited to crossing the map. |
| V | Ejects from the mech. The abandoned frame pulls nearby enemies in, self-destructs, and the transformation ends. |

How to confirm Magnet is active and working
Two things tell you the fruit is equipped and functioning. The chat feed prints Blox Fruit <Magnet> activated., and two large dark mechanical arms with orange thruster flames appear floating beside your character. If the arms are there but the Magnetic Power [1/3] bar is empty, you simply have not picked up any scrap yet.
If a move will not fire, check the mastery number on the fruit rather than the cooldown. Locked abilities still appear in the move list with their requirement attached, so Polarity Drive showing on screen at Mastery 20 does not mean it is usable. Grinding low-level NPCs raises mastery quickly, and a 2x mastery bonus shortens the climb further.
Update 30 and the Magnet reveal
Gamer Robot first teased Magnet as a new Natural-type fruit on August 23, 2026, then premiered the full trailer on August 29 with a cinematic fight showing Marines attacking an island defended by the mech. Update 30 followed on September 5, 2026, which is when the fruit went live.
Almost every move in the kit pulls, traps, or disarms, which makes Magnet a control fruit before it is a damage fruit. The trade-off is real, though. A player who keeps chipping at you keeps your meter low, and that removes the pull range, the defense bonus, and the transformation in one go. Getting value out of Magnet means protecting the bar as carefully as you spend the abilities.
