Dungeon Lootr Class Tier List: Every Class Ranked After Update 1

Where every Dungeon Lootr class lands after the Update 1 balance pass, plus how to unlock the strongest picks.

Your class is the single biggest lever you have in Dungeon Lootr. It decides your skills, your damage type, how fast rooms die, and whether Boss Rush floors are a farm or a wall. Everything else — gear, stats, aspects — sits on top of that choice.

Quick answer: Sinister Trigger, Dreadlord, Spell Breaker, and Coyote are the strongest kits right now. If you can’t roll one, run Boxer or Witch Gunner while you push toward Boss Rush floor 40, where Honored One, Cursed King, and Anti Magic start dropping.

Dungeon Lootr class tier list after Update 1

Update 1 added four classes — Spell Breaker, Cryomancer, Coyote, and Dark Professor — and shipped a batch of balance changes that moved several older kits. The ranking below reflects that patch as of early September 2026. Classes are listed alphabetically inside each tier, not ordered within it.

TierClasses
SAnti Magic, Coyote, Dreadlord, Founder, Jetstream, Shadow Vagrant, Sinister Trigger, Spell Breaker, Streamline, Unrestricted
AArcher, Artemis, Assassin, Awakened Devil EX, Cryomancer, Cursed King, Dark Professor, Forge Archon, Honored One, Kage, Shinobi
BAzure Devil, Bowman, Cursed Child, Demonbane, Divergent, Flame Bastion, Greatsword, Ronin, Vacio
CBoxer, Wanderer, Witch Gunner

Note: before the balance pass, Cursed King and Honored One were widely treated as the best endgame damage options. They are still strong and still worth farming, but they no longer sit above the protected, high-uptime kits at the top.

How these classes were ranked

The ranking weighs six things, all of them PvE-only. There is no PvP consideration here.

  • Damage and clear speed: how fast a kit wipes a room and how hard it burns a boss health bar.
  • Survivability: base HP, Vitality, and how many skills carry Parry, Dodge, or full invulnerability frames.
  • Mobility and uptime: how easily you stick to a target and keep hitting instead of standing through long recovery animations.
  • Utility: stuns, pulls, knockback immunity, tracking projectiles, and damage buffs.
  • Consistency across most content, not one perfect-conditions damage number.
  • Risk versus reward: a big hit that roots you in place loses points against a boss telegraph.

That last point is why raw attack values are misleading. A class with a modest multiplier that never drops its combo will out-clear a bigger nuke that gets you flattened halfway through the animation. Combo count matters too, since some kits scale their strongest skill off sustained hit chains rather than opening burst.

Why the S-tier classes sit at the top

Sinister Trigger is the best spin prize in the game and the cleanest all-round pick. Crossfire has three charges, gives you Dodge movement, scales at x19.2, and has a 10 percent chance to drop you into a state with 30 percent more damage. Showstopper and Rainstorm reset each other, and Hysteria upgrades to a nine-shot version with 45 percent extra damage once you are past a 500 combo. Elite bossing, elite clear, no mobility trade-off.

Dreadlord is the tank-carry option. 500 HP with +20 Strength and +20 Vitality means it eats mistakes that delete other damage classes. Crimson Rush is fully invulnerable, Dread Vortex pairs Parry frames with knockback immunity at an x11.0 multiplier, and Gravefall plus Rose Cataclysm cover range and area. It is slower than the speed kits, but it is the safest carry in hard content.

Spell Breaker is the new execution pick. It shares Dreadlord’s 500 HP and +20 Vitality, then builds most of its kit around Parry and Dodge windows. Thousand Cuts triples its damage off a successful parry, and Tempest Splitter can leave enemies taking 15 percent more damage while carrying a 35 percent chance to reset Piercing Rush. Higher skill floor, very high ceiling.

Coyote is the strongest magic kit. Savage Waltz and Wolf Pack both hit hard while granting Dodge protection, Wolf Pack’s homing projectiles explode in a 10-stud radius, and Feeding Frenzy holds Parry across a seven-hit barrage before buffing basic attack damage by 10 percent. At 320 HP it does not require flawless play.

Jetstream and Streamline win on protection rather than numbers. Every Jetstream move carries Dodge or Parry, and its x4.0–x5.0 multipliers are unremarkable on paper but near-constant in practice. Streamline is the same idea taken further, with Flowing Dance fully invulnerable and Surface Slash carrying a 15 percent chance to instantly ready both Water Wheel and Flowing Dance.

Shadow Vagrant has the filthiest multipliers in the tier (x8.4, x7.8, x12.0, x10.2) plus Flickering Step, a three-charge repositioning tool with wide area damage and Dodge frames. The catch is 260 HP, so sloppy play still gets punished. Founder covers 30 to 40 studs on its best attacks and has a 35 percent chance to instantly reset Pillar of Heaven off Somersault Crash. Anti Magic is the bruiser of the group at 410 HP, with a three-second stun on Black Divider for locking down packs. Unrestricted swaps between Sword and Spear forms that genuinely change three of its skills, at x11.0–x12.0 on the core hits.

How to unlock the best Dungeon Lootr classes

Most classes come out of the Class Summon menu in the lobby. The best ones mostly do not. Boss Rush, NPC quests, Forge crafting, and event shops cover the rest, which is why an unlucky spin streak does not lock you out of the top tier.

ClassRoute
Sinister TriggerClass Summon (Exotic roll)
Honored OneBoss Rush floor 40+ class item drop, or Forge with 50 Gojo fragments
Cursed KingBoss Rush floor 40+ drop, or Forge with 50 Sukuna fragments
Anti MagicBoss Rush floor 40+ drop, or Forge with 50 Asta fragments
UnrestrictedNPC quest: player level 75, 500K coins, Honored One at level 25, 10 Heavenly Fragments
Awakened Devil EXAzure Devil at level 50, 1 million coins, 1 Devil Heart (35% drop from the Awakened Devil boss in Frostspire NM)
DreadlordUnderworld Glaive from Underworld Gate Nightmare, reported at a 1% drop
JetstreamJetstream NPC quest
CoyoteEl Hueco, or the Coyote Bundle
Spell BreakerMagic Unleashed event raid shop
Founder / Shadow VagrantLimited bundles (Grand Sovereign, Shadow Monarch)
StreamlineEarly Access+ exclusive reward

Boss Rush floor drop rates climb with depth, and clearing the main boss on floor 100 hands over roughly 8 to 18 fragments. Heavenly Fragments for the Unrestricted quest come from Challenge Mode bosses that spawn every 10 waves, at a reported 5 percent. Boss Rush unlocks around player level 67 and Challenge Mode around level 55, so both are mid-game targets, not day-one ones.

Class summon rarities and reported roll rates

Normal Spins lean heavily on Rare and Epic. Lucky Spins raise the odds of Legendary, Mythic, Celestial, and Exotic, and they are a premium purchase. These rates circulate widely among players but have never been published as an official table, so treat them as approximate.

RarityReported rateExample classes
Rare70%Ronin, Greatsword, Bowman
Epic20%Boxer, Assassin, Flame Bastion
Legendary8%Archer, Kage, Shinobi, Witch Gunner
Mythic2%Divergent, Wanderer, Cursed Child
Celestial0.5%Artemis, Vacio, Azure Devil, Forge Archon
Exotic0.05%Sinister Trigger

Do not build your account around an Exotic pull. Classes can be swapped freely without losing progress, and you can hold several at once in coin-bought loadout slots, so keeping a workable Mythic or Celestial while you grind Boss Rush is the faster path.

Best classes to run before you get an S-tier

Boxer and Witch Gunner sit in C tier on the current list, and that is fair for endgame content. Early on they are still the two most useful things you can roll. Boxer has some of the fastest basic attacks available at Epic rarity, which turns it into a steady damage engine while you learn room layouts. Witch Gunner gives you real ranged pressure, which makes learning boss patterns far less punishing.

Divergent is the pick of the Mythic rolls, and Azure Devil is the Celestial you should hold onto rather than reroll, since it is a prerequisite for Awakened Devil EX. Archer and Kage are fine holding patterns at Legendary. Ronin, Greatsword, Bowman, Assassin, and Flame Bastion all work for early rooms and then fall off hard once dungeon difficulty scales.

Before you commit spins or fragments, open the Classes menu and read the Skill Info tab for the kit you are considering. Multipliers, charge counts, and which moves carry Dodge or Parry frames are all listed there, and that is what actually separates tiers.

Match stats, aspects, and titles to your class

Put every skill point into the one damage stat your class uses. Strength for physical kits, Dexterity for ranged, Intelligence for magic. Splitting points across two stats is the most common way players make a strong class feel weak, and Vitality is generally skipped in favour of raw damage.

Aspects attach to a class and come from the gamepass shop or Challenge Dungeon milestone rewards at level 55 and above. The pairing matters more than the aspect’s raw rating.

ClassAspectWhy
Sinister TriggerAlacrity, RuinFastest basic attacks in the game stack on-hit effects quickly
BoxerAlacrity, RuinSame logic on a beginner budget
Azure Devil / Awakened Devil EXAlacrity, Umbral, TempestAttack speed plus multi-charge skills for stacking
UnrestrictedTempest, AegisHigh base skill damage and added crowd control
Honored One, Cursed King, Anti Magic, Demonbane, ArtemisTempestSkill-damage buff on kits built around big skill hits
DreadlordFulminA long stun sets up its slower skill rotation
Forge Archon, VacioAegisFits both defensive kits
Founder, Shadow VagrantPhantomNatural synergy with the clone mechanic

Titles are a flat stat bonus you equip from your inventory. Unchained is the pick for Strength builds, Iron Sight for Dexterity, and S3.Paragon or The Storm for Intelligence. The Storm unlocks at Mastery 50 on Awakened Devil EX. If you are struggling to survive rather than to kill, the Sanguine aspect’s lifesteal is a reasonable stopgap, though damage aspects win once your movement improves.

Gear carries a real share of your damage on top of all this. Use Equip Best after every run, forge duplicate pieces together, and hold off on crafting exotic gear until player level 100, since exotic stats scale to the level you craft them at.

Rankings will move again with the next balance pass — Update 1 already reshuffled the middle of the list, and the newest kits have not been stress-tested across every dungeon yet. The stable advice underneath the churn: play a class you can actually control, dump your points into its damage stat, and grind Boss Rush toward a class item instead of gambling on a 0.05 percent roll. You can check the current build yourself on the official Dungeon Lootr experience page.
