The Heavenly Luck Casino in Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ is best known as the setting for Operation Silent Ledger, the heist mission where you drill a basement vault. It has a second, smaller locked room on the main floor. That room is the Counting Room, and it opens with a key the heist itself pays out. The room is not a jackpot. It is a tidy, reliable stash of mid-tier gear that is worth a detour when you are already in Cheongun Village.

Quick answer: The Counting Room Vault key opens a door on the casino’s main floor at grid F4. One run turned up about $6,450 in listed item value plus roughly $900 in cash.

Counting Room Vault key: rarity, value and source

Its name is Counting Room Vault. As with all DMZ keys, the description begins with a Tac-Map grid square; for this one, the square is F4. The rest identifies the vault it opens as the counting room on the Heavenly Luck Casino’s main floor.

Operation Silent Ledger is the Story Mission that ends the Counterfeit chapter. Its reward list includes a Gold Bar, a Polaris Dagor A1, cash and one vault key. The mission screen truncates that key’s name, but the two halves read “Counting R…” and “…Room Vault.” Because the key comes from the casino heist, you will usually go back to the same building to spend it.

Keys stay in your Stash between deployments, but you lose any key outside a Secure Slot if your exfil fails.

Heavenly Luck Casino Counting Room location (F4)

The Heavenly Luck Casino stands in Cheongun Village, inside the F4 square of the Hajin Tac-Map. Grid letters run from west to east and numbers run from north to south. The Counting Room is on the ground floor, off the office hallway rather than on the gambling floor. Its door is a plain wooden one, and the interact prompt reads “HEAVENLY LUCK CASINO COUNTING ROOM – UNLOCK.”

Don’t confuse it with the circular basement vault you drill during Silent Ledger. A separate key, Vault Armory, reportedly grants access to a small armory beneath the casino in the underground parking area. The Counting Room is upstairs.

The unlock confirms itself right away. A “DOOR UNLOCKED” message appears and you get 300 XP before you step inside.

Counting Room loot: everything in one run

The room is small and packed with containers. It has a footlocker, a row of wall caches, military bags and duffel bags, equipment cases on a side counter, a weapon case and shelving along the walls. One full sweep turned up the items below. The values are the sell prices the game displays, and a dash means no price was shown.

The first containers set the tone. The footlocker holds the night vision goggles, and the military bag next to it holds Detonators, a 3D printer ingredient. The wall caches add the Cronen Squall, the Medium Backpack, the inhaler and several tactical items. The equipment cases on the counter supply most of the throwables, along with Biomaterials, another printer ingredient.

The Medium Backpack is more useful than its price suggests. A Medium Backpack or larger gives you a Secure Slot, and that slot is what keeps a key or your best item safe through a failed exfil.

How much the Counting Room is worth

The priced items in that run come to about $6,450. The two cash bundles on the shelves add $900, which brings the total to roughly $7,350 before you count the ingredients and throwables. That is a solid haul for an Epic key. Still, it sits well below the twelve cash bags in the basement vault during Silent Ledger, each worth $1,500, and well below a single Gold Bar.

The room has no Weapon Manual, no recipe and no high-tier armor. What it gives you is a full kit: two rifles, a three-plate-free vest upgrade in the 2-Plate Armor Vest, night vision, a bigger bag and enough grenades to finish the run.

Counting Room loot changes between runs

The containers stay in the same places, but what is inside them changes. In a separate opening of the same door, the rifle case held a Kastov 762 instead of the Cronen Squall or the Oris 0.6. Treat the table above as an example of one run, not a fixed drop list. The layout, the 300 XP unlock and the general spread of gear, cash and throwables are consistent. The exact weapons and valuables can vary each time you open the room.
