The Shiny Tooth is an Oddity in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and for most players it becomes urgent at exactly one moment: when the Tsarina asks for three of them before she will let Heile leave the burrow with her brother. The teeth are a drop, not a pickup you can farm from a chest, so the fastest route is to go where the game guarantees a human boss.
Quick answer: Kill human bosses in bandit and soldier camps. Three reliable ones sit southwest of Svyatograd City near Rock Fall, south of Rock Fall, and in the Marogir Wealds. Each drops one Shiny Tooth, then you hand all three to the Tsarina in the burrow to close out Good Home.
What drops a Shiny Tooth in The Blood of Dawnwalker
Shiny Teeth come off human enemies as a random drop, and they can also appear on undead. That randomness is the problem — clearing a road patrol might give you nothing across a dozen kills. Human bosses are the exception. They guard bandit camps and soldier camps, and they reliably carry a tooth alongside Denarius, gear, consumables, and skill manuals.
| Source | Reliability |
|---|---|
| Human bosses in bandit and soldier camps | The dependable option — plan your route around these |
| Ordinary human enemies | Random drop; loot every body you leave behind |
| Undead enemies | Random drop, less consistent |
| Pig pen by Andrei’s hideout (The Heart Wants What It Wants) | One tooth hidden in the hay |
Note: the drop rate climbs noticeably once you finish the Pearly and Precious quest with the Sanzhani. If you are still early in that questline, do not count on passive drops to get you to three.

These three camps sit close enough together to clear in one loop, and each one is built around a single human boss. Kill the boss, loot the body, move on.

Why the Shiny Teeth objective may never show up
The teeth requirement is not part of every Good Home playthrough. It only appears if you argue that Heile should leave the burrow with Tonis. In the confrontation with the Tsarina, pick the line about the girl living among her own kind, follow it with the question about what future waits for her there, then agree to the Tsarina’s price. That last agreement is what adds the objective to your journal.
If you instead talk Tonis into leaving her behind, the quest ends on the spot and you never get asked for anything. Either path still unlocks the Letters for Lunka questline, so the teeth are a cost you pay for the outcome, not for progression.
Good Home starts in the Svartrau Outskirts, north of the Sandy Gorge Shrine, and requires the prologue to be finished. It is also a missable quest, so do not leave the burrow alone for too long.
Turning in the three Shiny Teeth
Head back to the burrow and speak to the Tsarina with all three teeth in your inventory. The hand-off happens in dialogue, and you will know it worked when the objective clears and she moves straight into talking about Lunka and offering to send a letter through the Sanzhani. Good Home then closes out with 100 XP and 1 Skill Point.
If the option to give them does not appear, the usual cause is a short count. Teeth do not stack into the turn-in automatically as you gather them, so check your Oddities before making the trip back.
What to do with extra Shiny Teeth
Any teeth beyond the three have a buyer. The Sanzhana you meet during Pearly and Precious trades for them, and once that quest is done she relocates to the Sanzhana lair in the Yawning Burrow, in the Svartrau Outskirts. Her stock leans toward rings and amulets and refreshes from time to time, so it is worth another look after you offload a batch.
Because human bosses are the one predictable source, the smartest habit is to clear camps you were going to pass anyway and loot every body. By the time the Tsarina names her price, you may already have what she wants sitting in your bag.
