Magnet Tokens are the Update 30 event currency, and they come from exactly one place: the special [Magnetized] enemies that appear during the hourly Magnet Event. Normal NPCs give you nothing. The event is short, the enemies are already spread across the map when it starts, and the players who walk away with a full 500 tokens are the ones treating the window as a travel problem rather than a combat problem.
Quick answer: Be in position before XX:00, then kill only blue-glowing [Magnetized] enemies for roughly 17–35 tokens each, hopping to a new island the moment one is cleared. Around 20–23 kills gets you the 500 tokens needed for a Magnet Gacha roll in Middle Town.
Magnet Token farming loop: scan, kill, move
The single biggest mistake is camping. Magnetized enemies are distributed across islands the instant the event fires, and cleared spawns do not reliably re-magnetize on a normal respawn timer. Waiting on one island burns minutes you cannot get back.

The event triggers at the top of every hour, on the XX:00 mark. There is no warning ramp, so if you load in at XX:02 you have already lost a fifth of the window.
You will know it is running from the sky. It shifts into a galaxy-like, magnetic visual effect across the whole server. That effect is your confirmation that Magnetized enemies have spawned and that kills will start paying out tokens.
Duration is the one number worth treating carefully. Player testing consistently lands on a roughly 10-minute window, and the event is documented as ending after 10 minutes. Since the patch notes themselves confirm the hourly start but not a duration, the safe habit is to assume the shorter window and start farming immediately instead of pacing yourself.
How to identify Magnetized NPCs
Event enemies are ordinary NPCs that have been powered up with Magnet abilities, so they keep their usual model and location. Three visual cues separate them from the regular version.
| Cue | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Aura | A bright blue magnetic glow around the body |
| Name tag | A [Magnetized] label near the enemy name, with rarer Overcharged variants reported |
| Effects | Magnet-style particle effects, including magnetic hands |
Tip: if an enemy has none of those markers and drops no tokens on death, it is a normal NPC. Move on rather than working through the rest of the group.
Magnet Token drop amounts and the 500-token target
There is no published fixed drop table, and payouts vary per kill rather than landing on a flat number. Kills clustering in the low-to-mid 20s are the common result, which makes the math for a single roll straightforward.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Token source | [Magnetized] enemies during the Magnet Event only |
| Tokens per kill | 17–35, most often 20–25 |
| Kills needed for one roll | Roughly 20–23 |
| Gacha roll cost | 500 Magnet Tokens |
| Roll frequency | Once every two hours, shared cooldown with the standard Blox Fruit Gacha |
| Maximum tokens held | 5,000 |
Because the shared cooldown gates you to one roll every two hours, banking tokens across multiple events is normal. Nothing is lost by farming two or three windows before you spend.

Route setup: Portal, boats, and server choice
Magnetized enemies spawn across the world, so no sea is locked out. First Sea is the practical pick anyway because the islands sit close together and a full rotation costs almost no travel time. Third Sea can pay more per kill, but only if you have a movement fruit fast enough to cover the distances inside a 10-minute window.
| Setup | Best approach |
|---|---|
| Portal equipped | Chain dense islands back to back; travel time drops to near zero |
| No Portal | Use Light, Kitsune or your fastest boat and keep the route tight |
| Crowded public server | Move islands immediately or switch servers; others clear spawns first |
| Private server | Best option, since no one else can take your Magnetized kills |
Bring a build you already know. The event rewards clearing groups quickly with familiar area damage, not experimenting with an unfamiliar combo while the clock runs.
Spending Magnet Tokens at the Magnet Gacha
Update 30 moved the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer to Middle Town in the First Sea. Talk to the dealer, choose the Magnet Event option instead of the standard fruit roll, and spend 500 tokens. Do this after the window closes, not during it.
The reward pool is defined even though per-item odds are not published.
| Reward type | Contents |
|---|---|
| Fruits | Uncommon or better |
| Profile cosmetic | 1 Profile Background |
| Accessories | 2 Accessories |
| Secret | 1 Secret Reward |
| Chase reward | Lime Blade, Topaz Diamond, Scarlet Ghost, Yellow Lightning, Starlight Gravity, Runic Fiend, Arcsteel Magnet |
Note: the Magnet Fruit is a separate Mythical fruit sold by the Blox Fruit Dealer for $6,000,000 or 3,500 Robux. Magnet Tokens are also not the same item as Monster Magnet, which is an unrelated Mythical material.
Why you are not earning Magnet Tokens
If your token count is not moving, the cause is almost always one of a short list of things.
- The event is not active. Check the sky. No galaxy effect means no Magnetized spawns, so wait for the next XX:00.
- You are killing normal NPCs. Only tagged enemies pay out, regardless of how many regular ones you clear.
- Another player got there first. On a busy server, Magnetized enemies vanish fast.
- You are camping a cleared island waiting for a re-roll that does not come.
- You joined several minutes late, or spent the window travelling instead of clearing.

Since Update 30 is new, token values and the exact window length can shift with hotfixes, so the in-game Gacha interface is the final word on the current roll price. What is unlikely to change is the shape of the event: it starts on the hour, it is short, and it pays players who plan a route before the clock turns rather than after.
