Every life in WARDOGS starts at a vendor screen, and rebuilding the same rifle, magazines, loose ammo, armor, vest, backpack and medical supplies by hand after each death gets slow fast. The game keeps a record of the last kit you bought and can sell you the whole thing again in one action.
Quick answer: Go back to an Equipment Vendor inside a Safe Zone, open the shop, then select REBUY LAST LOADOUT in the bottom-left corner of the vendor interface and confirm the purchase.
What Rebuy Last Loadout actually does
Rebuy Last Loadout is a repurchase, not a recovery. After you buy your first kit in a match, the vendor stores that exact list of items and lets you order it again in one click. Nothing is returned to you for free, and the money comes out of the same persistent balance you carry between matches.
The rebuy screen shows the full breakdown of what you had equipped, with individual prices per line. A typical list covers every slot you filled the first time around.

Where to find the Rebuy Last Loadout button
The option lives in the Equipment Vendor menu, and Equipment Vendors sit inside Safe Zones. You will see the “SAFE ZONE” text at the top of your HUD when you are in one, and a yellow hexagonal waypoint marked “Vendor” points you at the booth itself. There is no way to rebuy from out in the field, so respawning and walking to the vendor is the first half of the job.
Once the shop is open, the button sits in the bottom-left corner of the interface, below the Overview tab and the slot list. It only appears once you have bought a loadout at least once in the match.
How to rebuy your last loadout
The “RE-BUY FAILED” warning and partial purchases
If the list costs more than you are carrying, the purchase does not silently cancel. A warning reading “Caution: Re-buy failed to purchase some items” appears under a “RE-BUY FAILED” header, and everything you could afford is still bought and added to your inventory.
That makes the message a partial-success notice rather than an error to fix. The practical response is to reopen the Overview tab and check which slots are still empty, since the missing pieces are the ones the game could not cover.
Note: a rebuy is only as complete as the kit it copies. If you died holding a weapon you picked up from an enemy rather than one you bought, it will not be on the list.
Changing your gear after a rebuy
The rebuy is not locked in. Open the vendor again afterwards and you can add, swap or top up anything you want. That is the fastest way to fill in whatever the partial purchase missed, or to adjust for how the match is going.
Extra rounds are usually the first thing to add. The Loose Ammo tab sells ammunition by the stack in your weapon’s caliber, and loose rounds are cheaper and more space-efficient in a backpack than carrying extra loaded magazines.
Medical supplies are the other common top-up. Bandages are your only field self-heal, and the Emergency Resuscitator costs nothing, so there is no reason to leave one behind.
If you are switching role entirely, building the new kit from scratch is usually cleaner than rebuying and then replacing half of it. Rebuy is designed to restore a setup you were already running.
When rebuying is the wrong call
Because your bankroll carries between matches and is not handed back each round, repeatedly restoring an expensive kit after quick deaths drains cash faster than most players expect. A run of bad lives can leave you unable to field anything competitive for the rest of the session.
The safer habit early on is to settle on a cheap, general-purpose setup and rebuy that one repeatedly, then loot better weapons and armor off downed enemies. Expensive optics, high-tier armor and specialist equipment make more sense once you are reliably earning back what you spend.
Saved loadout presets are not available yet
There is no way to save multiple custom presets and carry them into future matches. Each new match still starts with a manual purchase, where you pick your weapon, attachments, ammunition, armor and supplies from scratch.
A loadout section already exists in the menus as a planned feature, so a proper preset system looks intended, but it is not something you can use today. No release window for it has been confirmed.
Until that arrives, the routine is simple enough to become muscle memory. Build one affordable kit at the start of a match, then hit the rebuy button at the vendor after every death and trim the list to whatever your balance can stand.
