Outfits in Grand Blue are stat gear, not skins. Equipping one leaves your character looking the same but pushes numbers like Strength, Agility, Health, Precision, Energy, and Willpower, and a few tack on passive effects on top of the raw buffs. There are 20 of them in the Early Access build, split between shop purchases and drops from mobs, mini-bosses, and bosses.
Quick answer: Buy the six starter outfits for 250 Gold each at the Anchor Town Clothing Shop, grab four more from Clown Town’s Patchworks Shop for 1,000 Gold each, and farm bosses like The Beast and the Black Noir Captain for the high-stat Legendary sets. Swap freely, since you can hold multiple outfits in your inventory.

Add to Google Preferences →Best outfit for each stat
Because you can keep several outfits and switch between them per activity, there is no single “best” pick. Match the outfit to what your build scales with. Energy powers Cursed Fruit skills, Strength drives melee, and Precision feeds gun builds, so pick the top number for whichever damage source you use.
| Goal | Best outfit | Key stat |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | Black Noir Outfit | +18 Strength |
| Health | Bear Suit | +31 Health |
| Energy | Kuro’s Outfit | +25 Energy |
| Agility | Kuro’s Outfit | +30 Agility |
| Precision | Goblin Suit | +10 Precision |
| Willpower | Hypnotist Outfit | +26 Willpower |
| Farming | Joe’s Overalls | +5% crop growth |
| Cooking | Chef Apron | +5% food potency |
Note: Willpower currently ties to Haki, which is not switched on in Early Access, so a high-Willpower outfit like the Hypnotist Outfit or Bear Suit mostly pads survivability today rather than combat power.

Where to buy outfits: Anchor Town and Clown Town
The cheapest outfits come from two shops, and both are easy to reach early. The Clothing Shop stocks six starter pieces, while Clown Town’s Patchworks Shop carries four mid-tier options.
The Anchor Town Clothing Shop sits in the Harbor area near the Aria NPC. Look for a small board with an outfit icon above a large window that lets you see inside. All six of its outfits cost 250 Gold each.
The Patchworks Shop is in the Harbor area of Clown Town. Come in through the main docks, head toward the Mayor’s House, and continue straight along that same path to find it. Each of its four outfits costs 1,000 Gold. The pricier Jester’s Outfit is sold separately at Clown Town’s Weapons Shop for 5,000 Gold.

How to get Kuro’s Outfit
Kuro’s Outfit is the best mobility set in the game right now, with +30 Agility and +25 Energy, and it only comes from a raid boss.

How to confirm an outfit is equipped
Open your character menu and go to the Outfit slot under Cosmetics. Slot the outfit there, and your stat sheet updates immediately with the listed buffs. Since outfits don’t alter your appearance, the stat page is the only reliable confirmation that the buff is active.
Two outfits carry passives instead of, or alongside, flat stats. The Treasure Hunter’s Outfit gives its shovel a +50% chance to strike a buried Fruit Chest, so keep it on while digging up treasure maps. Joe’s Overalls and the Chef Apron are utility gear for farming and cooking rather than combat, so swap them in only for those activities. For rings and necklaces to round out a build, the accessory system slots up to three pieces at once and adds set bonuses when you match a full set.
