Borderlands 4: Every Vinechoked Canopy Collectible Location

All 15 pickups in Vinechoked Canopy on Providence Island, plus the two side quests that gate them.

All 15 pickups in Vinechoked Canopy on Providence Island, plus the two side quests that gate them.

Vinechoked Canopy on Providence Island packs 15 collectibles into a fairly compact overgrown industrial zone, and two of them sit behind side quests you have to accept before the area will even let you reach them. The rest are a mix of shootable blockages, a fuse puzzle, and audio logs tucked onto consoles and furniture.

Quick answer: Vinechoked Canopy contains four ECHO Logs, four Lieutenant Harmony logs, three Tediore Guns, two Island Safes, one Substation Switch, and one Tiki Bar. Complete The Relieving of the Guard before you go after the Tediore Guns, and complete Old Friend before you chase the fourth ECHO Log.

Side quests that gate the area

Two pickups will simply not be reachable on a first pass. The Relieving of the Guard, accepted from Private Hatch, is what opens up the Tediore Guns. Old Friend, which needs some story progress of its own, is what opens the route to the fourth and final ECHO Log.

Head to Private Hatch and accept The Relieving of the Guard. Finish it before you start hunting the three Tediore Guns, otherwise the sections holding them stay sealed.

Pick up and complete Old Friend once the story has progressed far enough for it to appear. Only then should you go for the “We” ECHO Log, which is the last one in the zone.

Tip: neither of these is missable. Side missions can be replayed later, and the world stays open after the story wraps, so a cleanup run is always possible.

Island Safes: Shoot the Polyclusters

Both Island Safes are walled off by the blue Polyclusters growing over the structures. They are destructible, and shooting them is the entire trick. There is no lever, key, or timer involved.

For the first safe, aim at the Polyclusters choking the doorway and destroy them until the entrance is clear, then walk in and open the safe.

The second safe sits in a sealed room below. Shoot out the Polyclusters covering the floor above it, then drop through the hole you made to land next to the safe.

Substation Switch: Fuse, console, cave

The single Substation Switch here is a three-part sequence rather than a straight pickup. You need the green fuse first, then the console, then the switch itself, which is not out in the open.

Grab the green fuse and deposit it into the console nearby. The console will not respond until the fuse is seated.

Flip the switch on the console to power the route through. Then follow the cave passage it opens to reach the Substation Control and activate it.

You know it registered when the Substation Control activates and the icon turns from blue to green on your map.

The Surly Centipede Tiki Bar

Vinechoked Canopy has exactly one Tiki Bar, The Surly Centipede, and claiming it takes a short wait rather than a fight. Start the generator, let it build charge, then pull the jumpstart lever to finish the claim.

Once the bar is yours, do not run straight back out. The Charged Up ECHO Log is sitting on a table inside, so grab it before you leave.

All four ECHO Log locations

#ECHO LogWhere it sits
1Fine DiningOn a crate inside a building
2Charged UpOn a table inside The Surly Centipede
3BreechOn a console
4“We”On a console, reachable only after Old Friend

The first three can be collected in any order on a normal sweep of the zone. The fourth is the one that will leave your counter at 3/4 if you have not touched Old Friend yet.

Lieutenant Harmony logs and the tracker issue

Four Lieutenant Harmony logs are scattered across the zone. Session 35 is on a console, and interview_harmony.audio is resting on a lounge chair beside the pool area. One more sits inside a case, and the last is not at ground level at all.

Outgoing Call 44a: Harmony Janet is stored inside a suspended cargo container. Shoot the container down first, then pick the log up off the ground where it lands.

Note: that same log does not always count properly. The in-game tracker can report only three Harmony logs in the region even after you have collected all four, so treat the container pickup as done once it is in your inventory rather than chasing a number that will not move.

Tediore Guns: Vines, jump pads, and the pool

All three Tediore Guns require The Relieving of the Guard to be finished first. Each one is placed to force a bit of traversal rather than combat.

Work along the vines to reach the first gun. It is a movement route, not a hidden room.
Use the jump pads to launch onto the high platform holding the second gun. Miss the landing and you simply drop back down to try again.
Collect the third gun near the pool area, close to where the interview_harmony.audio log is found. Sweeping both in one trip saves a return visit.

How to check your Vinechoked Canopy progress

Open the map and hover over the region to pull up its collectible totals. On PS5 that is Square, on Xbox it is X, and on PC it is F. You can also filter the map down to a single icon type with D-Pad Right on console or B on PC, which makes a cleanup pass much faster.

Icons only appear on the map once you have been near them. Anything still outstanding shows up in blue, and anything already collected turns green, so a quick filtered look at the region tells you exactly what is left.

If a counter refuses to hit its full number, the cause is almost always one of three things. Either The Relieving of the Guard is not complete, Old Friend has not been unlocked or finished, or you are looking at the known Harmony log miscount. Everything else in Vinechoked Canopy is a straightforward pickup once the growth is cleared and the power is on.
