Ride A Pet: All Blackhole Egg Spawn Locations (Full Guide)

All 16 Blackhole Egg spawn points across the four zones, plus the fastest order to sweep them.

All 16 Blackhole Egg spawn points across the four zones, plus the fastest order to sweep them.

The Blackhole Egg is one of the rarest drops in Ride A Pet, and it does not sit around waiting for you. It lands at a fixed set of spots on the map, and whoever reaches it first takes it. Knowing the exact list — and the order to check them in — is the difference between grabbing it and watching someone else hatch it.

Quick answer: There are 16 fixed Blackhole Egg spawn points, split evenly four-per-zone across the Overworld, Giant Tree, Desert, and Waterfall zones. Start moving the moment the spawn message appears.

Every spawn point belongs to one of four zones, and each zone holds exactly four. Numbering runs in route order, which is also the sweep order that wastes the least time.

You can join the experience from the official Ride A Pet page on Roblox. Servers cap at six players, so the competition for a single egg is small but immediate.

Egg stands and vendor spots: the four-second checks

Half the list sits at landmarks you already run past constantly. These are open, flat, and readable from a distance, so they cost almost no time to clear on the way to somewhere harder.

  • Starter Shop and Food Vendor in the Overworld
  • Wood Egg Stand and Forest Food Cart in the Giant Tree Zone
  • Oasis Market and Desert Egg Platform in the Desert Zone
  • Aquatic Egg Basin and Fishing Dock in the Waterfall Zone
  • Spawn Area and Mutation Ranch, both in the Overworld hub

The Overworld cluster is the quickest run of all four zones because the Spawn Area, Starter Shop, Mutation Ranch, and Food Vendor sit inside the same hub. If you are already standing in the hub when a spawn is announced, clear all four before you leave.

The hidden and vertical spots people miss

The other half of the list is where eggs actually survive long enough for a slower player to reach them. These points are either high up, tucked underneath something, or inside terrain.

Tree Hollow Canopy and Hidden Roots

The Giant Tree Zone stacks its spawns vertically. Tree Hollow Canopy sits near the top of the tree in the platforming section, while Hidden Roots is the opposite extreme, tucked beneath the main trunk. A fast mount matters more here than anywhere else on the map, because climbing costs far more time than running.

Sandstorm Ridge and Ancient Pyramid

Both desert spots sit off the flat ground. Sandstorm Ridge is the raised ridge tied to sandstorm weather, and the Ancient Pyramid spawn is part of the pyramid’s parkour structure. Approach the pyramid from an angle that lets you see multiple faces at once rather than circling it on foot.

Hidden Grotto and River Crossing Bridge

The Waterfall Zone is the easiest place to lose an egg to bad visibility. Hidden Grotto is a cave behind the main waterfall pool, so you have to pass through the water to see it at all. River Crossing Bridge connects the outer land toward the deeper water section, and the egg can be easy to overlook from the bridge deck itself.

Fast Check Route: the order to sweep all 16 spots

Running the map zone by zone, in a fixed order, beats wandering. Use this sequence every time so the route becomes muscle memory.

Clear the Overworld hub in a loop — Spawn Area, then Starter Shop, then Mutation Ranch, then Food Vendor. Four checks, minimal travel.
Move to the Giant Tree Zone and start high. Hit Tree Hollow Canopy first, then drop down to the Wood Egg Stand, the Forest Food Cart, and finally Hidden Roots under the trunk. Going top-to-bottom lets gravity do part of the work.
Head into the Desert Zone. Check the Oasis Market, climb to Sandstorm Ridge, sweep the Desert Egg Platform, and finish at the Ancient Pyramid.
Close out in the Waterfall Zone. Push through to the Hidden Grotto first since it is the most concealed, then the River Crossing Bridge, the Aquatic Egg Basin, and the Fishing Dock.

Setup that saves seconds on every Blackhole Egg run

Speed is the whole mechanic here. In Ride A Pet, better pets are faster pets, and faster pets are what let you reach rarer eggs before anyone else in the server does.

  • Equip and ride your fastest mount before a spawn happens — a Cerberus-tier ride, if you have one.
  • Zoom the camera out so you can scan around big structures and tall platforms in one pass.
  • Do not stop for random pickups or side tasks mid-search.
  • Start moving the instant the Blackhole Egg spawn message shows up in chat.

Stay mounted through the whole sweep. The Dismount button is right there on screen, but hopping off mid-route costs you the speed advantage you set up for.

How to know the spawn is live and the egg is yours

A Blackhole Egg spawn is announced with an on-screen system message, which is your cue to start the route rather than to start looking around where you are standing. Until that message appears, there is nothing to find.

Once you reach the egg and claim it, the Blackhole Egg shows up among your eggs alongside entries like the Galaxy Egg and BlackShield Egg, ready to place and hatch. If you sweep all 16 points and come up empty, another player in your server got there first — the only fix is a faster mount and a tighter route next time.
