Rolling a Blood Demon Art decides most of what your demon build can actually do in Project Slayers 2. Some kits are built around fast, unreactable strings that win duels outright. Others exist to shred bosses and pack dungeon rooms full of AoE. The gap between the best and worst options is wide enough that it is worth knowing where each one lands before you commit mastery to it.
Quick answer: Blood Manipulation and Ice Manipulation are the two strongest Blood Demon Arts. Take Blood for group PvE damage, Ice for grabs, counters, and dungeon AoE. Temari Manipulation is the weakest pick.

Add to Google Preferences →How these Blood Demon Arts were ranked
Each art is judged on four things: how fast and reactable its moves are, how cleanly they chain into combos and M1s, how much damage it puts out against bosses, and how wide its AoE reaches in dungeons. A kit that only performs in one of those categories caps out lower than one that covers both sides of the game.
This ranking reflects the meta as of September 2026, before the balance patch lands. Several of the placements here are sensitive to move speed and damage numbers, so expect shuffling once tuning changes arrive.
The top picks: Blood and Ice Manipulation
Two arts sit clearly above the rest, and they win for different reasons. One is a damage engine, the other is a control kit. Either is a safe long-term investment.
Blood Manipulation
Blood Manipulation is the best Blood Demon Art in the game right now, and it is arguably the best moveset of any kind. Nearly every ability functions like a barrage, so your DPS stays high while teammates stack M1s on the same target. That makes it the single strongest option for group boss fights.
It does not fall off in duels either. The moves chain into extensions and normals for long pressure sequences, so you are rarely stuck waiting for a window. Faster kits exist, but none of them scale the way Blood does when allies are hitting alongside you.
Ice Manipulation
Ice Manipulation has one of the best grabs in the game, plus a strong counter and combos that flow naturally out of both. The ice rain stacks with your M1s, which turns a single opening into a large chunk of a health bar.
Its dungeon performance is the other half of the argument. The AoE ranges are among the widest available, so you are covering whole enemy groups instead of picking off stragglers. If you want one art that handles duels and clearing equally well, this is it.

Duel-focused Demon Arts: Reaper, Dream, Shockwave, and Obi
These four lean toward player-versus-player combat. Three of them still hold up in PvE; one really does not.
Reaper
Reaper is built around fast moves and a deep list of combo routes, which makes it dangerous in a one-on-one. Its barrage also locks a boss in place long enough for other players to pile on M1s, so it pulls real weight in group content. Solo PvE is where it thins out, though it never becomes unusable.

Dream Manipulation
Dream Manipulation revolves around stuns and a strong grab, and stringing those together produces some of the cleanest combos in the game. The trade-off is PvE, where the same tools do less for you. It is still perfectly serviceable against enemies, just not a reason to pick it.
Shockwave
Shockwave tilts toward duels, with a moveset made for combos and a strong dual counter that gets even better paired with the Soryu clan. Unlike Dream, it does not sacrifice much on the other side: it has a boss barrage and enough AoE damage to matter in dungeons. That flexibility is why it sits comfortably above the B tier group.
Obi Manipulation
Obi Manipulation is a specialist. In duels it offers a genuinely deep mix-up toolkit, but the payoff only arrives after you have put real practice into it. PvE is the problem, since the kit struggles badly once you are fighting enemies instead of players.
If you are picking between Obi and Arrow, decide what you spend your time doing first. They are near mirror images of each other, and picking the wrong one means half your kit is dead weight.
PvE-leaning Demon Arts: Arrow and Explosive Blood
Arrow Manipulation
Arrow Manipulation is slow and needs setup, and the wind-ups are telegraphed enough that a competent opponent reads them. None of that matters much against enemies that will not sidestep your attacks, which is why it grades out as a solid farming option and a poor duelling one.
Explosive Blood
Explosive Blood is the awkward one. Several of its attacks can be blocked or dashed out of, which makes it feel unreliable when you are pressuring someone. The upside is raw numbers: the tornado hits hard enough to justify the kit if you can consistently land it.

Temari Manipulation is the weakest Blood Demon Art
Temari Manipulation is the only art in C tier. It performs better against enemies than against players, and it stays usable for general PvE, but there is no situation where it is the right answer over something above it. Every other art on the list does at least one job better.

Most of these placements come down to move speed, and that is exactly the kind of thing balance tuning tends to move around. Blood in particular is rated on a pre-patch version of itself. If you are mastering something now, Blood and Ice are the two safest homes for that time, with Shockwave the best middle-ground pick if you split your hours between duels and dungeon runs.
