Fortnite’s Override season turned Sprites into the main collectible chase, and the latest batch adds three new named Sprites with active or passive abilities, plus a fresh set of cosmetic variants for almost everything already in the pool. Each named Sprite has exactly one gameplay effect, no matter which variant you’re holding, so the hunt is really about rarity patterns rather than power.
Quick answer: Loot Hacker Klombo is the rarest Sprite you can currently pull in a match, and the newest Sprites — Blinky, Crash Bandicoot, and Pond — each come in Gold, Cheat Master, and Loot Hacker variants.

Blinky Sprite (Legendary)
The Pac-Man ghost is a fully passive pick. Taking damage grants you cloak for a short window, and that cloak duration gets longer with every level up. It rewards fights you don’t fully control, since the effect fires when someone catches you out rather than when you press a button.
Crash Bandicoot Sprite (Legendary)
Crash is the only one of the new trio that deals damage. Jump while already in the air to trigger a whirlwind attack that damages and knocks back nearby enemies. Damage goes up and the cooldown comes down as the Sprite levels, so a mastered Crash is a genuine close-range tool rather than a novelty.
Pond Sprite (Epic)
Pond is a mobility Sprite built around charges that refill over time. Jump shortly after you land and, if a charge is available, you launch into a Super Jump. Jump strength increases and the cooldown shortens with each level up.
The timing window matters more than the charge count. If you jump too late after landing, you get a normal jump and keep the charge.
Bounty Hunter Crown Sprite (Special)
This one changes how you collect rather than how you fight. It gives you a chance to find Sprites when you eliminate opponents, and it only gains Sprite XP from eliminations unless a Sprite has its own special XP rules. The Crown line also levels differently: it only goes up when you win a match, and Crown Wins level it faster.
Gold, Cheat Master, Loot Hacker, and Bounty Hunter variants
Every named Sprite in the Override pool sits under the same variant ladder. The variant changes the look and, in some cases, the XP rules — but not the ability. A Gold Blinky cloaks exactly like a base Blinky.
- Base: the standard version, and by far the easiest to roll.
- Gold: rarer spawns through normal drops. Gold Blinky grants 3x bonus XP from eliminations.
- Cheat Master: some are handed out through Admin Panel codes; the rest only appear through very low-chance spawns.
- Loot Hacker: the newest tier and currently the rarest across the board.
- Bounty Hunter: tied to elimination-based collecting; most Bounty Hunter versions are still unreleased.
Mastering a Sprite unlocks new variants for it, which is why the in-game card carries the “New variants unlocked after mastering!” line.
Rarest Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
Klombo is the Override season’s trophy Sprite. It barely shows up in normal matches even in its base form, and all of its variants sit at the bottom of the spawn table. Gold Klombo arrived during a Gold Hours Power Hour event earlier in the season with a reported 0.00001% spawn chance, and the Loot Hacker versions added after it now occupy the top of the list.

Cheat Master Crown deserves a mention outside that ranking because of how it’s earned rather than how often it spawns. The Crown Sprite comes from a Victory Royale, and it only levels when you win with it equipped, which effectively means back-to-back wins without dying.
Exact percentage spawn rates for the Override Sprites haven’t been pinned down the way Chapter 7 Season 3’s were, so the order above is based on reported rates and unlock requirements rather than a full rate table.
How to get the new Sprites
Opening a container that contains a Sprite rolls once against the spawn table, which is why the rare variants feel like slot machine pulls. There are a few ways to improve your odds beyond raw container volume.
The in-game loot hack that’s meant to boost Loot Hacker spawn rates appeared to be bugged at launch, so don’t build a farming plan around it.
Sprites that aren’t in the game yet
A handful of Sprites exist in the collection lineup without being obtainable. The Birthday Sprite and its Gold, Cheat Master, Loot Hacker, and Bounty Hunter styles are all still locked, as is the entire Morgana line. Most Bounty Hunter variants of released Sprites — Jonesy, Adventure, Bush, Sonic, Tails, Shadow, 8-Bit, Jackrabbit, Klombo, Killswitch, Overshield, X-Ray, Onigiri, Storm Scout, Blinky, and Pond among them — are also waiting in the wings, along with Bounty Hunter Body Slam on the Crash Bandicoot line. No release timing has been confirmed for any of them.
How to confirm a Sprite is yours and mastered
Open the Sprite’s card and check the header. It lists the Sprite’s name, its rarity tier — Special, Epic, or Legendary — and its current level, starting at Lvl 1. The ability description underneath is the same text that tells you what scales, so a Blinky card that mentions a longer cloak duration is your confirmation that level ups are landing.
Mastering is the clearer signal. Once a Sprite is mastered, new variants of it become available to you, so seeing extra styles appear for a Sprite you’ve been leveling is proof the mastery credited.
Chapter 7 Season 4 launched with 22 Sprites and Epic has kept adding to that pool, both in new named Sprites like Blinky, Crash Bandicoot, and Pond and in new variant tiers layered over the existing roster. If you’re only chasing gameplay value, any base version of a Sprite does the job. If you’re chasing the collection, Klombo is the one that will keep you opening chests.
