Iris has seven regional looks in Aniimo, and the Grassland Form is the pale yellow one with wool caught in its petals. It is a Grass-element DPS at the Lumin stage, and while its Aniilog entry says it lives in the Nimbus Fields, the easiest place to actually walk up to one is much further along the map.

Quick answer: Head to Blitzwood in Breezy Plains and cross to the middle of the zone. A small herd of Iris sits on the cliffside in the east-central section.

Every Iris Grassland Form spawn location

This form appears in four areas, all inside Breezy Plains. The level range tells you how strong the wild Iris in that area will be, not how hard they are to catch.

HabitatWild level rangeRegion
Nimbus Fields5–15Breezy Plains
The Argent Strait28–32Breezy Plains
The Mistwoods35–37Breezy Plains
Blitzwood40–45Breezy Plains

Nimbus Fields is the low-level option and matters later for evolution. Blitzwood is the one worth the trip if you only want the Aniilog entry, because it is the only spot with a reliable cluster instead of lone wanderers.

How to get Iris Grassland Form in Blitzwood

Open the in-game map and pull up Breezy Plains. Pick Iris Grassland Form from the creature list so the map flags the regions it lives in.

Find Blitzwood on that map. It is the autumn-colored forest zone marked Lv. 44–46, sitting below Driftwise Meadow and the Mistwoods.

Fast travel in and run toward the middle of Blitzwood. Wild Iris are thin on the ground here, so expect single creatures dotted across the grass rather than groups.
Once you are in the east-central part of the zone, climb the grassy hill to the cliff edge. A small herd of Iris grazes right on the lip of that cliff, and they are usually a few levels below the surrounding wildlife.

Swap back to your human avatar and engage one. The base catch chance is 56%, and it improves by 1.5x if you break the Iris first or open with a backstab.

Iris sleeps at night, which makes a sneak attack from behind much easier to land than it is at midday.

Iris vs. Sunny Daisy: how to tell them apart

Blitzwood is covered in yellow dandelion-like plants called Sunny Daisy, and from a distance they read almost exactly like a Grassland Form Iris. The difference is the name plate. A real Iris carries a floating level and name label above it, and hostile ones show a red exclamation bubble when they notice you.

Other creatures share the same fields, so do not waste a break combo on the wrong target. Hummin roam this stretch at a similar level, and the fighter NPC Phil patrols near the flower patches on the way to the cliff.

How to confirm the Grassland Form registered

Two things fire on screen the moment it counts. The Aniilog opens the Iris Grassland Form entry, and a banner reads “Special Form collection progress increased. Collaboration Ability +1!” You also pick up combat experience from the encounter itself.

Beyond the entry itself, filing the report pays 100 Credits, and releasing a spare Grassland Form returns 3 Growth Buds. Extras are worth keeping while you decide, since the cliffside herd gives you several in one visit.

That spread makes it a glass ranged attacker. Durability and energy regeneration are both on the low end, so it wants a healer or shield partner on the team rather than a second damage dealer. Its trait, Disco Aniimo, raises Damage Amp by 30% while it stands on Turf and builds Dance Power on every skill hit, making the next skill free at 24 stacks. Out in the world, the mobility skill Blooming leaves flowers wherever it dances.

Vortex of Petals drops a spinning wall of petals at the target’s feet on a 1 second cooldown. Floral Storm is the sustained option, releasing tracking petals while you move and adding one more petal over time up to three at once; press the key again to stop casting. Grass hits Water and Earth for 1.6x, takes 1.6x from Fire, Wind, and Dark, and only takes 0.625x from Grass, Water, and Earth.

For reference, this form stands 0.85 m tall and weighs 6 kg, with an even split between male and female. The Sparkling version shows up at roughly 1 in 20,000 encounters, so treat any you find on the cliff as a bonus rather than a plan.

How to evolve Iris Grassland Form into Irisal

The Grassland Form has one evolution, Irisal, which moves it from the Lumin stage to the Nova stage. The route is locked until you clear the alpha, and the location requirement does not match where you caught it.

Irisal

  • Unlock the path by defeating the Alpha Irisal
  • Raise the Iris to Aniimo level 18
  • Be standing in Nimbus Fields during daytime
  • Spend Sprout Stone x1

Each Iris form evolves in its own region. The Forest Form needs the Forest of Falling Stars at night, the Highland Form needs Russet Highlands, and the Mountain Woods Form needs Beast Fang Ridge, so a Grassland Form will not evolve anywhere except Nimbus Fields in daylight.

If you are hunting the rest of the family afterward, the other six variants cover the Basic, Highland, Forest, Prismana, Plateau, and Mountain Woods looks, each with its own Aniilog slot and its own home region. The Grassland Form only counts once toward Special Form progress, so a single successful catch on that Blitzwood cliff closes it out.
