Ouwigahara is the endless wave mode in Project Slayers, and its chests are the reason most players keep queueing. Bosses drop them, the post-run shop hands them over, and the contents range from stacks of elixirs to the rarest cosmetics and crafting materials in the game. Luck multipliers sit on top of that system as a paid modifier you buy with Robux.
Quick answer: Beat bosses in Ouwigahara, then climb the ladder in the end-of-run shop to claim your Ouwigahara Chests. 2x Luck costs 270 Robux and 4x Luck costs 765 Robux, each lasting 30 minutes.
How to get Ouwigahara Chests
Ouwigahara is found in the hub and supports a party of up to four players. Waves of enemies keep coming, the enemy count climbs as you go, and a boss or an event fires roughly every 90 seconds. Every kill feeds your point total, and those points are only spendable once the run is over.
Defeating bosses is what earns the chests. When the run ends, the chests appear on the second floor of the Ouwigahara shop, and you reach them by climbing the ladder inside the shop. Open them there and the contents go straight into your inventory, so you can check what dropped before you spend any points on shop gear.

Deeper floors mean bigger point totals and more chests waiting at the end. A run that stalls around Floor 60 lands near 120k points; pushing to Floor 70 pulls that past 238k, and a long clear can finish north of 400,000.

The chest pool is weighted heavily toward consumables, with cosmetics and materials thinning out fast as the rarity climbs. Two items sit under one percent, and they are the ones that make long farming sessions worth it.
| Drop chance | Items |
|---|---|
| 50% | Jumbo Health Elixir, Jumbo Stamina Elixir |
| 45% | Jumbo Health Regen Elixir |
| 10% | Old Lantern |
| 5% | Black Hooded Scarf, Black Lilly Haorie, Blood Stained Ingot, Brown Scarf, Dark Green Haorie, Frigid Metal, Green Vine Haorie, Purple Flower Haorie, Rusty Necklace, Sakura Haorie |
| 4% | Lantern of Everlasting Glow |
| 2% | Blood Necklace, Butterfly Necklace, Reaper Necklace, Thunder Necklace, Water Necklace, Vigilante Scarf |
| 1% | Black Bamboo Amigasa, Claws |
| 0.5% | Polar Top |
| 0.25% | Polar Bottoms |
The Polar Top is the headline pull at 0.5%, carrying +250 max health, 10% health regen, 7% damage reduction and a sword bonus. Polar Bottoms are rarer still at half that rate. Everything above 10% is effectively restock material for your elixir supply.
2x Luck and 4x Luck: Cost and duration
Both Luck multipliers are bought from the in-game shop with Robux, and both run for 30 minutes from activation. The timer is real time, not run time, so it keeps ticking while you queue, browse the shop or stand around the village.
| Boost | Price | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Luck | 270 Robux | 30 minutes |
| 4x Luck | 765 Robux | 30 minutes |

Bank your chests first. Because the boost burns real minutes, it is far more efficient to stockpile unopened chests across several runs and then activate Luck and open the whole pile in one sitting.
What Luck changes in practice
Unboosted chests skew toward the common end of the table, with the occasional endgame material sneaking through. Early pulls at Floor 60 and Floor 70 tend to look like an Azure Necklace here, a Red Oni Mask there, plus scattered crafting pieces such as Firstlight Star Ore and Firstlight Weaver’s Silk.
Under 2x Luck the mix shifts noticeably toward gear and forged materials, pulling items like the Flame Amigasa, the Fractured Web Kata-Aki and the Firstlight Forged Ingot. Those ingots and silks are the ones Blacksmith Togane asks for on the Firstlight gear recipes, so this is where crafting progress actually happens.

At 4x Luck the high-tier hits come through more often across a run of 30-odd chests, turning up pieces such as the Nichirin Lantern, the Silver Fang Mask and Nightfall Weaver’s Cloth. The base drop table does not change; what changes is how frequently the low-percentage entries land.
World Events Chests and Mythic material rates
The Archives menu lists where each material comes from, and it is worth opening before you decide what to farm. For Mythic items, the Ouwigahara Chest sits at a 5% source rate while the World Events Chest sits at 2%.
World Events Chests come from overworld bosses rather than the dungeon. Beating a world boss such as Sanemi while a Luck boost is still ticking is a reasonable use of leftover minutes, and those chests can hand over gear like the Wind Slayer Uniform alongside the same Firstlight materials the dungeon drops.
Surviving longer runs for more chests
Chest volume is a function of how many bosses you kill, so run length is the real bottleneck. Bring at least three players to keep enemy density high, but be aware that larger parties scale enemy health upward. Maps with terrain to hide behind, like the snow and grassland variants, are the friendliest.
Stock elixirs before you queue
There is no reliable natural healing inside a run, which makes potions mandatory rather than optional. Visit Mercy and load up on Health Elixirs and Health Regen Elixirs before entering. One caveat on the green regen potions: they only work during passive regeneration, so a damage-over-time event cancels them out entirely.

Use the map high ground
On the Normal Map, the large rock in the centre is the safest anchor. Lure the wave around one side, jump on top, and you can hit the crowd from above while they cluster at the base.

The Tent Map has an equivalent in the rock ledge behind the tents, which isolates enemies and lets you swing down on them without taking return damage. On the Snow Map, opening across the bridge stops enemies dropping into the lower water trenches, and the cliff edges above the frozen lakes work as a trap for grouped demons.

Time your orbs and events
Orbs sit on the ground for about three minutes before despawning, so you can leave them and collect at the moment they help most. A Wisteria Orb held until the next stage begins wipes every newly spawned enemy the instant you pick it up. Health Regen Orbs should stay on the floor until someone in the party actually needs them.
- Time Stop freezes everyone roughly every 10 seconds; jump just before the audio cue to avoid it.
- No Stamina Regen and No Healing block potions, clan skills and orbs for the full minute.
- Darkness cuts render distance; toggling your lantern off and on again restores some visibility.
- The Double Orb doubles all points, and the “W” orb stacks with it for 16 points per kill.
Confirming the Luck boost is applied
After purchase, the multiplier shows as an active boost with its remaining time, and it stays applied whether you are opening chests in the Ouwigahara shop or cracking World Events Chests in the overworld. If the timer is visible, the boost is live.
The honest read on value is that 4x Luck does visibly raise the rate of high-tier pulls across a batch of 30 or more chests, but it is a rate change, not a guarantee. If you are chasing the 0.5% Polar Top or Firstlight crafting materials specifically, save your chests, buy the boost once, and open everything inside a single 30-minute window.
