Irisalis Petal is a Legendary-rarity currency in Aniimo, and it exists for one purpose: building the special capture item you need for the game’s first Legendary creature. The petals are not common, so it pays to start collecting them across every activity that hands them out.
Quick answer: Irisalis Petals drop from Main Story quests, the Tracing the Trail event, overworld flower patches, Alpha first clears, and more. Spend them to craft the Legendary Aniipod that captures Irisalis.

What Irisalis Petal is used for
The petal is a crafting currency. You feed collected petals into two recipes, the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis and the Legendary Aniipod: Departure with the Wind. Petals can also be exchanged for items in the Legendary Journey event shop.

| Region tie-in |
The Legendary Aniipod is not a normal capture pod. Ultra and Advanced Aniipods cannot stand in for it during the Irisalis encounter, so the petals are the only route to that specific pod.

Petals come from a wide spread of activities rather than one grindable source. Working through story content and clearing first-time challenges is the most reliable way to stockpile them.
| Source | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tracing the Trail event | Runs Sep 20 – Dec 9, 2026 |
| Main Story quests | From Ceremony Preparations; up to 2 each |
| Journey quests | Optional side quests with level and rank needs |
| Overworld pickups | Flower patches scattered across regions |
| Alpha first clear | One-time reward for beating each Alpha |
| Elite Pathfinder Challenges | Duels against NPC Pathfinders |
| Collection Silver Badges | Reward per area’s Silver badge |
| Prismana capture | Claimed in the Aniilog menu |
| Prospering Clusters | 3 petals when unlocked in Breezy Plains |
The Aniilog also grants petals for completing tasks such as collecting Prismana, using your Ultimate, and catching Alphas. Prioritize the Main Story: it hands out petals plus extra rewards and experience as you go.
The Tracing the Trail: The Shadow of Legend event is the largest single window for petals, and it closes on December 9, 2026.

Farming Irisalis Petal in Breezy Plains
Petals appear as world pickups, and Breezy Plains is the region built around them. Look for dense purple flower fields, which is where the petals sit on the ground waiting to be collected.
Head to the Sea of Flowers area, then push through the rocky Blitzwood pass into its purple flower fields. Approach a flower patch and press the pickup prompt to grab an Irisalis Petal.

Open the world map after a pickup to confirm the exact spot, then sweep the surrounding field for more patches before moving on. Bring a summoned companion along so you can keep clearing the area while you gather.

How to use Irisalis Petal to capture Irisalis
Once you have enough petals, the path to Irisalis is a fixed progression chain rather than a random hunt. Irisalis is a Grass-type DPS Legendary, and it is only obtainable through its scripted encounter.

You will know it worked when Irisalis is added permanently to your roster after the capture. The Irisalis Legendary encounter is expected to open on September 25th, so it is worth banking petals now to be ready.
Because the encounter is a one-time acquisition, prepare before you trigger it. Upgrade your primary damage dealer, carry recovery items, and avoid entering significantly under-leveled so a single fight does not cost you the run.
