Unwelcome Visitors is a straightforward kill-and-loot quest that sends you into Shadowgale Forest to thin out the local Shrieklings. There is no puzzle, no escort, and no timer. The only thing standing between you and the turn-in is drop luck, because the talons you need do not fall from every kill.

The quest giver is Isadora Bitterwind, who stands indoors in Valanissar. Talk to her and accept Unwelcome Visitors, and the objective immediately slots into your quest log as a count of 8 Shrieking Talons.
Before you leave the building, open your map. The quest area highlights Shadowgale Forest, which sits out on Zephyrs Isle near the Shrine of Akira. Pinning the objective in your quest log keeps an arrow on screen the whole way there.
Shadowgale Shriekling locations and what you need
Everything you kill for this quest is in one place. Shadowgale Forest is dim and foggy, and the Shrieklings patrol the clearings and the ground around the larger trees rather than clustering in a single camp. Expect to walk a loop rather than stand still.

You are done farming when the tracker reads 8/8 Shrieking Talons and the objective line greys out or crosses off in your quest log. That is the only confirmation you need before heading back.
Open your map, check the coordinates for Valanissar, and run back to Isadora Bitterwind. Hand in Unwelcome Visitors and she pays out experience along with reputation for the High Order. Once the completion window closes, the quest disappears from your log for good.
Don’t confuse it with the Azsuna world quest of the same name
There is a second Unwelcome Visitors in World of Warcraft, and searching the name will surface both. The Legion version is a level 45 world quest in Azsuna that was added in patch 7.0.3, and it has nothing to do with talons or Shrieklings.

In the Azsuna version, Stellagosa asks you to break up a demon incursion coming out of Suramar. You kill the two named demons, Blargemal and Arkethrax, and use the extra action button to call in Azurewing Scalewardens, who bring down the four Felblaze Portals for you. If your quest log is pointing you at Felblaze Ingress rather than a forest full of Shrieklings, that is the quest you picked up.
