Sherro’s Thunderstorm Form is a weather-locked spawn. It ignores the normal evolution route entirely, so no amount of leveling a Shelly or a Sheldon will produce one. It appears in a single place, under a single weather condition, and it sits on high ground that takes a short climb to reach.
Quick answer: Wait for a thunderstorm in Echoback Landing, go to -1545, 1620, climb the giant pink mushroom, and throw an Anipod at the Sherro spawning on top.
Thunderstorm Sherro spawn conditions
Everything about this variant hinges on the weather. If the sky is clear, the spawn point is empty, and nothing else you do matters.
- Weather must be an active thunderstorm, not ordinary rain.
- Region: Echoback Landing. It does not appear in any other habitat.
- One spawn point, on elevated terrain rather than at ground level.
- Wild spawns sit around Lv 36–40, so bring a party that can survive a stray hit.
- At least one Anipod in your inventory. An Anipod Mega is the safer choice.
Thunderstorm Sherro cannot be obtained through evolution. It is a separate catchable form alongside the basic Sherro and the Prismana version, so catching it in the wild is the only route.

The spawn sits above the landscape, not on it. Lightning strikes the structure repeatedly while the storm is running, which makes the location easy to pick out from a distance.

Elevated platforms reachable from the skeletal remains northwest of the Echoback Landing teleport point are also described as spawn ground for this form. If the mushroom is empty but the storm is still running, that stretch of coastline is worth a sweep before you give up on the weather window.
Catching Thunderstorm Sherro and confirming the catch
Base catch chance on a wild Thunderstorm Sherro is 22%, so plan on several throws. Breaking it first multiplies the capture rate by 1.5, and so does landing a backstab, which makes softening it up worth the extra thirty seconds.

This Aniimo sleeps at night. A sleeping target is far easier to line up a first throw on than one that is already aware of you.
Thunderstorm Sherro stats, element and trait
The storm variant swaps the basic form’s pure Water typing for a Lightning and Water pairing, which changes both what it counters and what melts it.
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Element | Lightning / Water |
| Role | DPS |
| Stage | Nova |
| 100 | |
| 121 | |
| 50 | |
| P.DEF | 75 |
| 75 | |
| REGEN | 88 |
| Total | 509 |
Its trait, Tidal Heart, raises Water damage by 25% for 20 seconds whenever it stands in water terrain or absorbs water. That single condition drives the whole kit, and it refreshes every time you step back into a puddle.
Defensively it is lopsided. Ice attacks land at 2.56x and Grass at 1.6x, while Fire, Rock, Wind, Water and Holy damage are cut to 0.625x. Keep it off the field against Ice and it holds up fine. It also carries three Homeland abilities, so it has a use back at base when it is not in your active party.
Thunderstorm Sherro skills
| Skill | Power | EP cost | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flowing Water Slash | 70 | 20 | 5s |
| 160 | 0 | 8s |
Flowing Water Slash gathers water and swings three times, and connecting with all three triggers a bonus strike. Near water, it absorbs it and converts the swings into water blades for an extra 30% Might.

Torrent Blade is the ultimate, a wide slash that widens further when water is nearby, adds damage on top and extends basic attack reach for six seconds afterward.
The rest of the equippable pool follows the same pattern. Torrent Slam activates puddles in the hit area for extra damage and a 15% Damage Amp buff for 20 seconds, Thunder Slam expands its hit area near water terrain, Prismana Slam grants Super Armor for five seconds, and Hydro Roll leaves behind a puddle when the roll ends. It has no mobility skill, so keep a dedicated traversal Aniimo on hand for getting around the map.
If the sky clears before you land the catch, you have lost nothing permanent. The spawn point stays where it is, and the next thunderstorm over Echoback Landing puts another Sherro back on top of that mushroom.
