Getting the Reports in World of Warcraft: Full Quest Guide

Report errands in World of Warcraft are pure courier work, but they send you across two zones with almost no hand-holding. One set has you tracking down roving guards scattered around Tirisfal Glades. The other, the Alliance quest The Reports, hands you a sealed document in Dun Morogh and expects you to find a specific senator inside Ironforge.

Quick answer: Talk to Gordo near Stillwater Pond, Deathguard Dillinger in Brill, and Deathguard Kristof at the tent camp southeast of Brill. Senir’s Report goes to Senator Barin Redstone in Ironforge.

Tirisfal Glades report locations

Three guards are spread along the roads west and southeast of Brill. None of them wander far, and each one hands over a single report the moment you speak to them.

Open the Map & Quest Log before you set off. Tirisfal Glades is compact, and lining up Stillwater Pond, Brill, and the dirt path heading southeast turns the whole run into one loop instead of three separate trips.

How to collect all three guard reports

Head west along the stone road until you reach the stretch beside Stillwater Pond and find Gordo standing on the road. Click him, accept Gordo’s Task, and pick up Gordo’s Report from the dialogue.

Turn around and run back east toward town. The route crosses a covered wooden bridge, which is the landmark that tells you you’re on the correct road into Brill.

Inside Brill, look to the left side of the road for Deathguard Dillinger. Speaking to him hands over Dillinger’s Report immediately.

Deathguard Bartholomew stands right next to Dillinger and offers quests of his own. Grab them while you’re standing there, since you’ll be passing back through Brill anyway.

Leave Brill on the dirt path running southeast, passing Deathguard Terrence on the way. Keep following it until a small tent encampment comes into view.

Speak to Deathguard Kristof at the camp. Your quest log ticks over to “Kristof’s Report: 1/1”, which is the confirmation that the last guard has been covered.

The Reports quest in Dun Morogh

The Alliance version is a straight delivery. Senir Whitebeard, stationed outside Kharanos, follows up his Frostmane Hold assignment by handing you Senir’s Report and pointing you toward Ironforge. He also asks you to keep quiet about the help you gave him, which has no effect on the turn-in.

Handing the report in pays 420 experience and 1 silver 75 copper, along with reputation for both Ironforge and the Gnomeregan Exiles. On Season of Mastery realms the experience reward is 585 instead. The quest follows Frostmane Hold in the same chain and was added in patch 1.13.2.

Route from Kharanos to Senator Barin Redstone

Take the road out of Kharanos heading north and cross the bridge. Opening the Dun Morogh map here shows the turn-in marker sitting inside Ironforge at roughly 53.6, 35.1.

Follow the road east and up the mountainside. Large banners flank the路 route on either side, and the snowy path leads directly to the Ironforge gates.

Once inside, move through The Great Forge and into The High Seat, the chamber where King Magni Bronzebeard holds court. The city map places Senator Barin Redstone at the royal dais there.

Speak to Barin Redstone beside King Magni and hand over the report. He reads it, complains about Magni and Whitebeard in equal measure, and tells you to leave.

How to confirm each report is done

For the Tirisfal guards, watch the objective counters rather than your bags. Each guard you speak to flips its line in the quest log to 1/1, and Kristof at the southeastern tent camp is the last one to tick over.

For The Reports, the confirmation is the completion screen itself. Senir’s Report leaves your inventory, the experience and coin reward pops on screen, and the quest clears from your log. If you’re not sure whether an old character already finished it, the in-game check is a single slash command.
