The Mona Car is the drivable centerpiece of the Persona 5 Royal crossover in Fortnite, an SUV/Truck body modeled after Morgana’s van transformation. It arrives as its own bundle alongside the wider character collaboration, pairing a themed vehicle body with a spread of decals and wheels that carry the Phantom Thieves branding into both Battle Royale and Rocket Racing.

Quick answer: The Mona Car Bundle includes the Mona Car SUV/Truck body, three decals, and one set of wheels. It releases September 25 at 8 PM ET, with the vehicle reported at 2,000 V-Bucks.

Release time: September 25 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT

What the Mona Car Bundle includes

The bundle centers on one vehicle body and the cosmetics that dress it. You get the Mona Car SUV/Truck body, three decals, and one wheel set. A second wheel set, Phantom Thieves of Hearts, is sold separately in the shop rather than packed into the bundle.

Mona Car sounds and passenger features

The Mona Car leans into Morgana’s cat identity through custom audio and animation rather than plain reskinning. These touches are the reason to run the body over a standard vehicle.

  • A cat “meow” plays every time a player enters the vehicle.
  • The rear exhaust is a flexible cat tail that wags as the car moves.
  • An exclusive custom horn sound replaces the standard honk.
  • The rear passenger sits sideways, facing out the side window instead of forward.

Mona Car durability and combat behavior

In Battle Royale, the Mona Car carries a total health pool of 2,000 HP before it is destroyed. Its panels do not all protect passengers equally.

The side windows can be shattered by gunfire, and once broken, bullets pass through and hit anyone seated inside. The rear door and window are solid metal grating that gunfire cannot penetrate, so the back offers the most cover during a firefight.

Decals and wheels in action

The Joker (P5R) and Panther (P5R) decals are animated, cycling their character artwork across the body rather than sitting as a static wrap. Both hold up across day and night lighting in a match.

Paired with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts wheels, the car shows its boost particle effects clearly during drifts, making the shop-only wheel set the natural match for the racing-leaning look.

Where the Mona Car works: Battle Royale and Rocket Racing

You can use Mona Car cosmetics in either Fortnite Battle Royale or Rocket Racing. The combat traits above apply in Battle Royale, while its body, decals, and wheels transfer to Rocket Racing as a cosmetic set.

Mona Car price and release time

The full crossover, including the Mona Car, lands in the Item Shop on September 25 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT. Datamined pricing lists the vehicle body at 2,000 V-Bucks and each tire set at 400 V-Bucks. Epic Games has not confirmed final pricing, so those figures may shift once the shop updates.

If you want to support a creator on the purchase, enter their code in the Item Shop’s Support a Creator field before you buy.

The wider Persona 5 Royal collaboration

The Mona Car sits inside a larger Persona 5 Royal set. That bundle brings two outfits, Joker and Ann Takamaki’s Panther, each with Shujin Academy and Phantom Thief styles, plus Joker’s Transformation emote that swaps between his uniform and Phantom Thief form mid-match.

Morgana joins as a Sidekick with spoken dialogue drawn from Persona 5 Royal. The lineup also adds back blings, pickaxes, two instruments (a microphone and a guitar), weapon wraps, Morgana Slippers kicks, and reactive vehicle effects.

Weapon wraps round out the set, including Joker’s Eyes, a reactive wrap that triggers a burst effect when you fire.

Most cosmetics are expected to sell in a single discounted bundle covering both outfits, while the Mona Car is likely to be priced on its own, matching how recent vehicle crossovers have been split out. Whichever route you take, the car’s cat sounds, wagging tail, and animated decals are what set it apart from a standard Fortnite ride.
