The latest balancing patch for the Roblox fishing game Fisch pushes two of its highest-tier rods further up the value ladder. The Masterline Rod and the Wind Elemental both received direct stat increases, and the same update layers in new masteries, gauntlet tweaks, a Boat Racing mode at Moosewood, and an active redeem code.
Quick answer: The Masterline Rod’s Ascended mutation multiplier rises from 9.9x to 12x, and the Wind Elemental gains +25% base progress speed and +45% base luck, making both stronger for high-value grinding.
Masterline Rod: bigger Ascended payouts and more control
The Masterline Rod is a Stage 11 rod earned by completing the game’s Bestiary and Rod Journal, and it already sits at the top of the roster thanks to 1000% lure speed and 350% luck. Its ability applies a 30% chance for Ascended, a 25% chance for Blessed, and small Shiny and Sparkling boosts, while Heaven’s Ray periodically blasts the fish for extra progress.
The biggest change is Ascended’s value: its multiplier has risen from 9.9x to 12x. Only Aether, at 15x, now has a higher mutation multiplier. Control has increased too, and a cap on the rod’s total weight multiplier keeps one stat from getting out of hand.
| Stat | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Ascended multiplier | 9.9x | 12x |
| Control | 0.15 | 0.20 |
| Total weight multiplier cap | — | 2.25x |
The rod’s blacklist also shifted. These rules govern which passives the Masterline can and cannot replicate through its mastery enhancement.
- Cinder Block Rod is now blacklisted.
- Remembrance is no longer blacklisted.
- Copied Remembrance will not carry the Dark Fish passive.

Masterline mastery rewards
The enhancement rerolls its selection every five minutes, replicating the passives of one to three rods you currently own. The lock ability at the top tier lets you keep a favorable roll, but the selection window closes quickly, so a rod must be clicked promptly before the cycle moves on.

Add to Google Preferences →Wind Elemental Rod: faster progress and higher luck
Earned by completing the Wind Master’s quest at Glacial Grotto, the Wind Elemental is a Stage 8 rod built around very high lure speed, high luck, and weather synergy instead of raw control. Its base ability gives a 30% chance to apply Breezed and adds +30% progress when the minigame begins; Windy weather also brings a large boost to progress speed.

Every mode except Omni-Elemental gained a set of baseline buffs, and the base Wind Elemental mode picked up a sizable luck bump. The Omni-Elemental mode, earned through the mastery, was retuned separately.
| Change | Value |
|---|---|
| Base progress speed (all non-Omni modes) | +25% |
| Favored-weather mutation chance | +20% |
| Base mode luck | +45% |
| Omni-Elemental progress speed | 25% → 55% |
| Omni-Elemental luck | +25% |
| Omni mutations (Breezed, Terra, Ignited, Stormy) | 15% → 20% |
Cinderstring Rod: broader stats and a longer Infernal Melody
The Cinderstring received one of the wider stat sweeps in the patch, touching lure speed, control, resilience, progress speed, and its Infernal multiplier. Its Infernal Melody effects were also strengthened and their duration doubled.
| Stat | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Lure speed | 95% | 100% |
| Control | 0 | 0.05 |
| Resilience | 70% | 80% |
| Progress speed | 10% | 30% |
| Infernal multiplier | 7x | 10x |
| Infernal Melody 1 duration | 30s | 60s |
Beyond the numbers above, Infernal Melody 1 now carries a 15% chance for Emberflame, raises Scorched to 60%, and lifts its luck and progress speed bonuses. Infernal Melody 2 pushes Scorched to 60%, adds a 20% Emberflame chance, and increases its Infernal and luck values.
Gauntlet and Crested Enchantment changes
Four gauntlets were tuned, and all of these buffs also apply to Mariana’s Gauntlets at half strength.
| Gauntlet | Change |
|---|---|
| Volcanic | Slash damage 2% → 3%; burn fade 3s → 5s |
| Challenger’s | Freeze chance 10% → 15%; duration 0.5s → 1s; cooldown 2s → 3s |
| Abyssal | Universal mutation rate +5% → +10% |
| Calm | Now grants +25% luck |
The Crested Enchantment now reduces fish movement speed by 30%, with a smaller 15% reduction if the rod already has any form of anti-slash. It can also slot into Keeperbound enchants in place of the Twisted Pillar, and the Crested affix gives -15% fish movement speed without the anti-slash penalty.
New masteries and Moosewood Boat Racing
The Stellarwave Melody and the Rod of the Singularity both receive new masteries in this update. Boat Racing is also added, with its first track located at Moosewood.
You can enter a race, either against other players or in a time trial, for 100 C$. Completing the Moosewood course earns the Cozy Cruiser title. Set a time below 2 minutes and 10 seconds to unlock a special boat from NPC Blueboi_nai.
The time-trial cutoff is strict. A run of 2:11.46 lands first place but still misses the boat reward, so the sub-2:10 goal is the line that matters.
The Vrooom! code and the subspace tripmine
The update ships with an active code, Vrooom!, redeemed through the in-game settings menu. It grants 1,000 Coins, the Pancaked Flimsy Rod skin, 10 Instant Catchers, 5 Luminous Larva, and one Megalodon Hunt Totem. You will know it worked when the reward items appear in your inventory and the skin becomes selectable.
The developers also added a subspace tripmine described as a pretty rare catch, and it has been reeled in at Moosewood. Catching it instantly grants the Subspace Tripmine Bobber, which carries a -150% forced progress speed trait. With the Ascended change confirmed on the mutation table, the Masterline once again looks like the strongest all-round value rod in the game, while the Wind Elemental’s higher base luck and progress speed make it a faster, weather-driven alternative.
