Fallen Angel is a Mythic-tier unit added to Anime Expeditions with the Endless Hellflame update (3.0) on September 25, 2026. It deals Light-element, Physical-archetype damage, carries a placement limit of two, and takes visual inspiration from Sho Kusakabe of the Fire Force series. You unlock it through a story questline rather than a standard summon banner.
Quick answer: Accept the Infernal-Cult Trial from the Devil NPC in Flaming Monastery, clear Infernal Cult stages to collect 16 Torn Photos, then turn them in to receive Fallen Angel.

What you need before starting
The unit is tied entirely to in-game progress, so there is nothing to redeem or download beyond the game itself. You will be moving between the Flaming Monastery Story map and randomly appearing Infernal Cult stages across the roster of maps in Anime Expeditions.
- Access to Story mode and the Flaming Monastery map.
- The Infernal-Cult Trial quest accepted from the Devil NPC.
- A unit setup strong enough to clear a 15-wave Infernal Cult stage.

On Infernal Cult stages, enemy hands can stun your placed units. Press E (Put Out) to free a stunned unit, though a high-damage setup can often clear waves fast enough to work around it.
You will know it worked when the quest completes and Fallen Angel appears in your Units menu as a Mythic unit.
How to evolve Fallen Angel into the Holy form
Evolving the unit unlocks Fallen Angel (Holy). The process needs a specific item plus the usual evolution materials.

Once finished, the unit updates to its Holy form in your collection, confirming the evolution succeeded.
Fallen Angel stats and upgrade path
Fallen Angel starts with the Teleporting Strike attack and gains Feathered Slash at a later upgrade. Its core typing is Light element with a Physical archetype. The figures below show how damage, attack speed, and range scale across each upgrade level.
| Upgrade | DMG | SPA | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| UPG 0 | 405 | 7.4 | 15 |
| UPG 1 | 510 | 7.3 | 16 |
| UPG 2 | 600 | 7.2 | 17 |
| UPG 3 | 745 | 7.1 | 18 |
| UPG 4 | 1,115 | 8.5 | 19 |
| UPG 5 | 1,345 | 8.4 | 20 |
| UPG 6 | 1,630 | 8.3 | 21 |
At base (UPG 0) the unit outputs about 54.73 DPS, rising to roughly 196.39 DPS at UPG 6. The first placement costs ¥1,500, with each subsequent upgrade increasing in price up to ¥6,700 at the final level.

Fallen Angel passives
The unit is built around Time Stop and fire damage-over-time effects through two passives.
Frozen Flames
Every 30 seconds, Fallen Angel Time Stops all enemies in range for 10 seconds, up to a maximum of three times per enemy. During Time Stop, the unit applies Fire on attack, with Fire dealing 2% increased damage per tick up to a 20% cap. Any damage-over-time effects already applied have their durations paused until Time Stop ends, and enemies can still receive additional damage-over-time during this window.
Flame Bonded
During Time Stop, enemies affected by the unit’s Fire spread an instance of Fire to the three closest enemies. When Time Stop ends, every enemy that had Fire spread onto it takes damage equal to 15% of the damage this unit dealt during the Time Stop window.
Between the story-locked acquisition, the Torn Photo grind, and a single-item evolution requirement, Fallen Angel is a set path rather than a gacha pull. Secure your 16 Torn Photos first, then chase the White Pillar Cloak when you are ready to push the unit into its Holy form.
