The Garden of the Illusion God is a pilgrim settlement in Verteron, the first continent Elyos players explore in AION 2. Four Regional quests for the Elyos faction begin here, all clustered around the Pilgrim’s Rest waypoint. Each one is tuned for level 45 characters and ties into the aftermath of the rift that tore through the garden.
Quick answer: Four Elyos Regional quests start in the Garden of the Illusion God — Search Party, Until I Hold You Again, Destroyed Monument and Learning to Let Go. All are recommended at level 45, unlock from level 10, and together grant 16,178,896 XP.
Where the quests start and who hands them in
All four quests are accepted at Pilgrim’s Rest inside the Garden of the Illusion God. They unlock once your character reaches level 10, but the recommended level is 45 for each, so they are best left until you are near the end of Verteron’s content. Three of them hand in back at the garden, while Until I Hold You Again finishes a short walk away at the Illusion Hideout Entrance.
| Quest | Given by | Turn in to |
|---|---|---|
| Search Party | Amaris (Pilgrim’s Rest) | |
| Until I Hold You Again | Caelid (Illusion Hideout Entrance) | |
| Destroyed Monument | Marwell (Illusion God Monument) | |
| Learning to Let Go | Neisha (Cedric’s Tombstone) |
You can let your character auto-travel by selecting the quest from the tracker, but it helps to know your way around. Open the regional map to teleport between unlocked points, and glide to cover ground quickly between objectives.

At the rest stop, pilgrim Amaris starts Search Party after children who came with their families begin disappearing in succession. The trail points to Deovar, a pilgrim whose daughter Elira died. Having lost his faith, he began abducting other children to defy the gods.

As Amaris puts it when you accept: “Could you help bring these poor children back to the embrace of the Illusion God?”

Clues in Deovar’s diary help you free the children unharmed and reunite them with their parents. To finish the quest, turn it in to Amaris at Pilgrim’s Rest and receive the Godforsaken title and a Rare Theostone Chest.
Until I Hold You Again
Until I Hold You Again is handed out by Phernos but turns in with Caelid. It closes the story of Reda, the former High Priestess of Illusion, who broke down after losing her daughter Teina. Caelid wants to restore Teina’s bracelet and return it to Reda as a keepsake now that its use as a key is finished.

When the bracelet is returned, the illusion aura inside takes the form of Teina’s apparition, and Reda is able to say a final goodbye. As Nania reflects afterwards: “The high priestess was able to talk with Teina one last time. Not an illusion, but the real Teina.” Turning in to Caelid grants the Courage to Face Flaws title, Teina’s Portrait artwork and the Pilgrim Necklace.
Destroyed Monument
The pilgrim Marwell gives you Destroyed Monument and receives it when you finish. A rift hit the garden and broke the Illusion God’s monument; tears have become more frequent since then, reducing the areas pilgrims can safely traverse. Marwell has records from a pilgrim who repaired the monument in the past and asks you to help interpret them.

With the prayer complete, Marwell declares: “Now the Illusion God’s will has been carried out, and pilgrims can return without fear.” Handing in grants the Sculptor title and the Pilgrim Earrings.
Learning to Let Go
You get Learning to Let Go from Remi, a child crying alone in the garden. His mother, Neisha, has spent days at the grave of his father Cedric, overcome with grief and using a dark magic scroll to try to bring her husband back. Turn in the quest to Neisha at the tombstone.

With only two short steps, this one moves fast. Go with Remi to his father’s grave behind Ardus Shrine, then speak with him there to reason with Neisha. The dark magic only summoned an unknown specter rather than Cedric, and once the spell breaks Neisha comes to her senses and realises how badly she has neglected her son.
Mother and child leave together, with Neisha resolving: “I’ll go home now. Holding Remi’s hand tight the whole way. I’ll never let him go again.” Completing it awards the Not to Be Missed title and a Rare Theostone Chest.

All rewards in one place
Every quest here pays 4,044,724 XP, 100,000 Bound Kina, one Bound Wisdom Stone and one Bound Daevanion Crystal. Clearing all four adds up to 16,178,896 XP. The title and extra item differ for each, as shown below.
| Quest | Title | Additional item(s) |
|---|---|---|
| Search Party | Godforsaken | Rare Theostone Chest |
| Until I Hold You Again | Courage to Face Flaws | Teina’s Portrait, Pilgrim Necklace |
| Destroyed Monument | Sculptor | |
| Learning to Let Go | Not to Be Missed | Rare Theostone Chest |
Because all four are level 45 tasks sitting in the same place, the efficient approach is to clear them in one visit while you are already working through the Garden of the Illusion God. Each one completes the moment you hand it in to the listed NPC, with the quest marked off in your journal and the rewards delivered to your cube.
