Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 reshuffles the roster without adding a new character, pushing its energy into balance instead. Thirteen heroes were touched in all, with most of them coming out stronger and only a short list taking a hit. Several of the changes are tied to Team-Ups, so a buff only lands if the named partner is on your squad.
Quick answer: Hulk, Magneto, The Thing, Cyclops, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Phoenix, Adam Warlock, Gambit, and Jubilee were buffed. Devil Dinosaur, Gorr the God Butcher, and Scarlet Witch were nerfed. All of it went live on October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC.

The three nerfed heroes in Season 10.5
Only three heroes lost ground, and the cuts land hardest on Gorr the God Butcher, who has been dominating fights since his arrival. Devil Dinosaur gives up a sliver of its enormous health pool, and Scarlet Witch sees a single number trimmed on her zoning damage.
Gorr the God Butcher
| Ability | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow Scythe base damage | 55 (+2% max HP) | 50 (+2% max HP) |
| Shockwave damage | 60 | 55 |
| Twilight of the Gods duration | 12s | 10s |
| Living Abyss cooldown | 15s | 12s |
| Living Abyss move speed | 13m/s | 10m/s |
The percentage portion of Shadow Scythe survives, so Gorr still punishes high-health tanks, but his flat damage and ultimate uptime both drop. Living Abyss comes back faster now, trading some of its mobility for the shorter cooldown. He also picks up a quality-of-life change outside the balance pass, with a new custom targeting sensitivity option for Shadow Harvest.
Devil Dinosaur and Scarlet Witch
Devil Dinosaur’s base health falls from 850 to 825, a small trim meant to make the tank slightly easier to take down. Scarlet Witch loses area control pressure, with Chthonian Burst single-shot spell field damage dropping from 40 to 35. No other Wanda changes are part of this update.

Hulk
Hulk’s Bruce Banner form gets a real upgrade. His Gamma Ray Gun projectile speed jumps from 80m/s to 120m/s, and the gamma energy he gains when a Gamma Grenade hits himself doubles from 50 to 100, letting him rage out faster.
His Wolverine Team-Up also improves across the board: the Furious state now grants a 25% boost to both attack speed and movement speed, up from 20%. The health threshold that triggers Unstoppable rises from 300 to 400, and the Unstoppable cooldown drops from 60s to 45s.
Magneto and The Thing
Both Vanguard buffs are tied to Team-Ups. Magneto’s Emma Frost pairing pushes the magnetic projection from Magnetic Resonance to 50% damage, up from 45%, and its maximum duration grows from 5s to 6s. The Thing, running with Invisible Woman, sees the Unbreakable Forces cooldown fall from 20s to 15s, while the enhanced heal now triggers at 125 damage instead of 150.

Duelist buffs
Iron Man
Iron Man’s missiles now home in on targets. When fired, Micro-Missile Barrage automatically seeks nearby enemies, and as many as five projectiles can converge on one foe. Each missile’s damage falls from 20 to 10, but its speed jumps from 15m/s to 60m/s.
The same tracking applies to missiles fired during Armor Overdrive, where single-shot damage falls from 15 to 10 with the same five-lock cap. His Thor Team-Up also gains damage: Unibeam outer ring damage rises from 70/s to 80/s, and the Thunder Overdrive enhanced version goes from 85/s to 90/s.
The tracking makes missiles far easier to land, but it is not a flat damage boost. Each missile hits for less, so the gain comes from consistency rather than burst.
Phoenix
| Ability | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Cosmic Flames single-shot | 60 | 65 |
| Spark detonation direct damage | 40 | 45 |
| Spark explosion damage | 15 | 20 |
| Endsong Inferno Sparks applied | 1 | 2 |
| Hela Team-Up cooldown | 12s | 10s |
Phoenix trades sustain for aggression. The self-heal that used to come from detonating Sparks is gone, replaced by 5 Bonus Health for 4s, capped at 25. She hits harder everywhere else, and her ultimate now spreads twice as many Sparks on each explosion and shockwave.
Cyclops
Cyclops does a touch more damage and charges his ultimate faster. Optic Blast single-hit damage rises from 22 to 23, and each hit now shaves 0.3s off Ricochet Force instead of 0.25s. His Ruby Rage ultimate costs 3,400 energy, down from 3,700, and the Gambit Team-Up extends Kinetic Kin from 6s to 8s.
Hawkeye
- Piercing Arrow projectiles gain speed, rising from 130–195m/s to 140–210m/s.
- Crescent Slash animation recovery slightly reduced.
- Hypersonic Arrow initial-hit spell field width up from 3m to 5m.
- Psylocke Team-Up: Psionic Arrow single-shot up from 32 to 33.
- Cloak & Dagger Team-Up: Moonlit Slash now self-heals equal to the healing it deals.

Strategist buffs
Jubilee
Jubilee comes out of this update as one of the stronger supports. Sparkling Sprint now gives her 25/s continuous healing, so she stays alive while repositioning. Firework Finale’s spell field healing climbs from 150/s to 180/s, and a new Blade Team-Up effect heals nearby allies for 15/s over 6s during Vampiric Kin.
The one cost is control. Dazzling Detonation’s blind duration drops sharply from 1.5s to 0.8s, so she locks enemies down for far less time.
Gambit
Gambit charges his suits faster, with Healing Hearts and Breaking Spades now taking 7s per stack instead of 8s. His Jubilee Team-Up extends Sparkling Staff from 1.5s to 2s. Ragin’ Royal Flush is reeled in, though, with its target search range cut from 40m to 30m and its extra jump boost lowered from 500 to 300.
Adam Warlock
Adam Warlock’s single change is a healing bump on his Ultron Team-Up. A single Cosmic Cluster heals for 18 instead of 16, and while the Team-Up is active, the enhanced explosion spell field heals for 7 rather than 5.

All of these adjustments arrived with the Season 10.5 update, which launched alongside the Avengers: Infinity War game mode and the Infinity Finale event. Before you treat any of the numbers above as permanent, check whether the hero needs a named partner, since a large share of the buffs only apply when the right Team-Up is active.
