The Hamster Ball is an Anomaly Furniture piece in Neverness to Everness tied to the Eden Apartment property. Once placed and activated, it lets you claim one free Module every day, with a chance at higher-rarity (gold) Modules as you raise its level. The catch is that it stays locked until you recruit the Sterry Express courier Hathor and start feeding it Little Melon Seeds from Haunted Vending Machines.
Quick answer: Buy Eden Apartment, recruit Hathor from the Standard banner or Standard Selector, then open City Tycoon → Property → Eden Apartment → Hamster Ball, track Little Melon Seed to clear Haunted Vending Machines, upgrade to the current max level, and press Claim to receive the daily Module.
Requirements to unlock the Hamster Ball
Two conditions must be satisfied before the furniture activates. The first is housing access through the City Tycoon system, specifically owning Eden Apartment, which is the property the Hamster Ball is attached to. The second is having Hathor in your roster, since she is the Sterry Express character tied to the unlock check.

Hathor is a permanent S-Rank Lakshana character available on the Standard banner. You can also pick her through the Standard Selector after reaching the pull threshold on the Strange Encounters permanent banner. Pulling her on a limited banner is not required.
| Requirement | Detail |

| Property | Eden Apartment (purchased through City Tycoon) |
| Character | Hathor, S-Rank Lakshana, Sterry Express |
| Source for Hathor | Standard banner pull or Standard Selector |

Farming Little Melon Seeds
Little Melon Seeds are the upgrade currency for the Hamster Ball. They drop from Haunted Vending Machines, which spawn as elite anomaly enemies across the open world and appear in several Anomaly Zone stages, including Night of the Rails and Defend the Radish.
Note: While Eden Apartment is your highest-tier property, the Hamster Ball is capped at level 6. Buying a higher-tier property such as Skyview Halls or Golden Capital raises the level cap, which in turn increases the chance of pulling a higher-rarity Module from the daily claim.
Claiming the daily Module
Once the Hamster Ball is upgraded, return to its panel and press Claim. The reward is one Module with a rarity rolled against the furniture’s current level. At lower levels the drop is usually a standard-quality Module, while higher levels add a meaningful chance at gold (orange) Modules, which carry the strongest main and sub-stats for your Espers.
You know the claim worked when the Module appears in your inventory and the Hamster Ball’s claim button greys out until the next daily reset. Always upgrade before claiming on a given day, because the rarity roll uses the level at the moment you press Claim, not the level at the start of the day.
Common reasons the Hamster Ball stays locked
| Issue | Why it happens |
|---|---|
| Eden Apartment not purchased | The Hamster Ball is bound to that specific property and will not appear in other apartments. |
| Hathor not yet recruited | The character check fails until she is added through the Standard banner or Selector. |
| Upgrade panel empty | No Little Melon Seeds in inventory; track the material and clear Haunted Vending Machines first. |
| Daily Module greyed out | Already claimed today; resets on the server’s daily reset. |
| Level cap reached too early | Cap scales with your highest-tier property; upgrade housing to raise it past 6. |
Tip: Combine the Hamster Ball claim with the Rewind Module gacha. The daily Module from the Hamster Ball is a free roll on top of your Carota-coin pulls, so even at lower furniture levels it adds meaningful Module volume over a week of logins without spending stamina.
