Stormind Games and Wales Interactive made Sker: The Bleeding Veil together, with Wales Interactive also serving as publisher. This first-person survival horror game follows a solitary protagonist through derelict buildings and tunnels echoing with unsettling Welsh vocals, using acoustic devices to avoid masked, cloaked figures and grotesque coral-like growths.

Quick answer: It is a first-person survival horror title launching in Spring 2027 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and it is open to wishlist now.

What Sker: The Bleeding Veil is

The game is a first-person survival horror experience that leans on exploration, stealth, and sound. You play from the perspective of a single character, seen through pale bare hands with rolled-up cloth sleeves, making your way through crumbling stone corridors, misty railway tunnels, and ruined rooms.

Stormind Games and Wales Interactive are credited as co-developers, with Wales Interactive billed as the publisher and framed as makers of human horror. The reveal establishes a gothic, dread-heavy tone carried by vocal Welsh music rather than loud jump scares alone.

Sound tools and stealth gameplay

Core play revolves around acoustic devices. You open an antique velvet-lined case to collect a metal tuning fork, and you pick up an ornate cylindrical music box topped with a winged angel figurine. These tools are central to how you read and move through each space.

Threats take the form of tall figures in long coats and masks who patrol the halls. Rather than fight them head-on, you watch and time your movements, holding the tuning fork while a coated figure walks away before you advance. Encounters shown in the footage include confronting a cloaked enemy and dodging lunging monsters.

The setting and its horrors

Environments are built from dilapidated interiors, arched tunnels, and dark corridors. Threaded through them are grotesque biological growths that resemble branching coral, with skeletal remains tangled inside them. Some of these react and scream, turning the scenery itself into part of the threat.

The title itself is revealed underwater, with illuminated text surfacing through murk before the key art lands on the cloaked pursuers you will spend the game avoiding.

Sker: The Bleeding Veil is planned for release in Spring 2027, but its exact date and time remain unannounced. It can be wishlisted on digital storefronts before release.
