Within the Circle of Greed area of the Catacombs of Paris, a flesh-and-eye barrier presents three vacant sockets. Retrieve the three black eye relics, equip them together, and interact with the barrier. Mammon waits beyond it as a spiked wheel centered on an eye.
Quick answer: Collect Thrilling Eye, Oozing Eye, and Trembling Eye. In the Relics tab, equip the set, then use R1 on the Circle of Greed door to open it and face Mammon.
What the flesh door needs
The door is a large round gate of red flesh and tendons with closed eyeballs, and it sits in the Circle of Greed. Walking up to it shows the clue “A DOOR MADE OF FLESH AND EYES” along with the banner “NEW CLUE ABOUT THE MISER”.
Each of the three relics it accepts carries the same line, “a black relic awaiting reunion with its kin”. One relic with a similar name does not count here: Abyssal Eye, a chest relic found at the Cemetery Entrance, has a different effect (“Rose deals 35% more damage to controlled enemies”) and is not one of the door’s three.

| Relic | Area | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Thrilling Eye | Hospital, Paris Streets | Occult wheel altar, lower floor |
| Oozing Eye | Circle of Greed | Raised platform, red device |
| Trembling Eye | Pillaged Tombs, Holy Innocents’ Cemetery | Inside a fleshy mass in an alcove |
Thrilling Eye
Make your way to the Hospital in Paris Streets, entering through the red door beside the Street of the Tomb Masons. On the lower floor, pick up the relic from the occult wheel altar by interacting with it.
Oozing Eye
This one is already in the Circle of Greed, sitting on a raised platform. Reach the platform and interact with the red device there using R1 to claim it.

Trembling Eye
In Holy Innocents’ Cemetery, make for the Pillaged Tombs. Starting at the Fountain of the Innocents, enter through the doorway at the ruins’ base. The tombs lock you into a fight; once it’s over, the screen displays “PILLAGED TOMBS CLEARED!”
Once combat ends, follow the passage upward past rotating saw blades, spikes, and lasers to reach the upper tier. In an alcove, use R1 to smash the fleshy mass and uncover the relic.
How to reach the door in the Circle of Greed
From Ferryman’s Wharf in the Catacombs of Paris, pass through the Collapsed Path of Orpheus, then the Realm of Old Night, where a mirror shrine sits. From there continue into the Antechamber of Sin, and finally into the Circle of Greed, where the flesh door waits.
Opening the eye door

You can put your usual relics back on after opening the door and before beginning the fight.
How to beat Mammon
Mammon’s Lair is a cave piled with gold, with golden grapple rings on the ceiling. Mammon has one health bar, labelled “Mammon” at the bottom of the screen. The key tell throughout the fight is that Mammon holds still before each beam attack, which is your cue to move into the safe gap.
- Floor charge: Mammon turns into a glowing ball and rolls across the floor. Dash clear, jump over its path, or grapple to a ceiling ring to get off the ground; attack when the charge is over.
- Cross beam: Mammon pauses in mid-air as red lines form a plus-shaped pattern, with one beam vertical and the other horizontal. Stay diagonally clear of both paths, then hit it both before and after the beams fire.
- Hovering wheel: When the wheel stays suspended and its ring spins, take the chance to attack.
- Eight-way starburst: A ring grows around Mammon before eight beams shoot outward. Position yourself in a gap between two of them.
- Bounce with falling rocks: rocks drop from the ceiling. Watch the shadows and keep moving sideways.
- X-shaped beam: stand below the center, between the lower diagonals.

Reward and how to confirm the win
The fight ends when Mammon’s bar empties, and the trophy “All that glitters is not gold.” appears. You then absorb the Arcana card The Miser. Its spell is Wheel of Chaos, which launches a wheel bearing the Eye of Mammon that targets the nearest enemy and then hovers in place for a few seconds.
