AION 2: How to Raise CP and Farm Stigma Shards for Dungeon Entry

Getting locked out of an Expedition dungeon in AION 2 usually comes down to a single number: your Combat Power. Many rooms filter by CP, listing requirements like 70K, 80K, or 85K before they let you in, and the fastest way to push past one of those walls without new gear is to rebuild how your Stigma points are spent. Spreading points across several Stigma skills returns more total CP than pouring everything into one maxed ability.

Quick answer: Reset an over-leveled Stigma skill, then reallocate the refunded points across two or three skills at Lv. 10–15 instead of one at max. In the demonstrated setup, this moved CP from 81,328 to 83,630, clearing the 80K dungeon gate.

Why spreading Stigma points raises CP

Each Stigma skill level adds a chunk of Combat Power, but the cost to level climbs steeply at the top end. The final tier, levels 16 to 20, costs 8 Stigma Shard points per level. When you dump 40-plus points into one skill’s last stretch, you are paying a premium for a small CP return. Reclaim those points and spread them, and the same shards light up more skills, each contributing its own CP.

That is the whole trick behind the CP boost: no third-party tool, no exploit, just reallocation inside the Skill menu. Resetting is free and reversible.

Raising CP for dungeon entry is normal play. Do not use any third-party software to inflate it. That risks your account and is never required for the method below.

Reallocate Stigma points to clear a CP threshold

Open the Skill menu and switch to the Stigma tab. This is where every registered Stigma skill and its level appears.
Select a heavily upgraded Stigma skill and press Reset. Resetting a high-level skill returns every Stigma Shard point it used. In the example, resetting Savage Fang refunded 51 points and dropped CP to around 77K, showing how much a single over-invested skill was hoarding.

Pour the refunded points back across more than one skill, aiming for efficient breakpoints like Lv. 10 or Lv. 15 rather than maxing a single ability. Bringing a second skill up alongside your main earns more total CP for the same points.

Unlock and level a secondary Stigma to squeeze out the last CP you need. Taking Savage Fang to Lv. 15 and activating Swift Contract to Lv. 5 lifted CP from 81.3K to 83.6K, enough to pass the 80K room filter.

You know it worked when the CP figure in your character panel updates and the Expedition room you were blocked from now accepts you. The Lv. 45 Expedition rooms shown in the party finder list filters such as 70k, 75k, 80K+, and 85k-100k, so match your new CP to the bracket you want.

Assassin Stigma skill reference

The skills used in the reallocation above belong to the Assassin kit. Here are their shipped figures so you can judge which to prioritize while you shuffle points. Each is learned as a Stigma skill, costs one Stigma point to acquire, and unlocks from character level 22.

SkillCooldownDamage (Lv. 1 → max)Max level
Savage Fang60s1,074 → 4,572 (+200% Attack)40
Triniel’s Dagger45s1,374 → 5,852 (+256% Attack)40
Swift Contract60sBuff only40
Quick Slice—61 → 1,406 (+70% Attack)40

Savage Fang hits up to 4 enemies within 4 meters and engraves 5 Insignias for 10 seconds, costing 200 MP. Triniel’s Dagger strikes a single target within 4 meters, adds 30% damage from behind, and stretches the target’s skill cooldowns. Swift Contract deals no damage; it raises your Combat Speed by 20% for 10 seconds, which is why it is cheap to slot as a secondary CP source. Quick Slice is a regular skill rather than a Stigma, so it does not draw from your shard pool.

What it costs to level a Stigma

Reallocation only goes so far before you need more Stigma Shards. The cost per level doubles every five levels, so the early tiers are cheap and the last stretch is punishing.

Level rangeShards per levelRunning total
1 → 515
6 → 10215
11 → 15435
16 → 20875

One skill to Lv. 20 costs 75 Stigma Shards. That 16-to-20 tier alone eats 40 of them, which is exactly why the balanced spread beats a single maxed skill for CP per point spent.

Buy Stigma Shards in the Abyss Trade Shop

The steady shard faucet is the Abyss Reshanta Trade Shop, open from level 45. Head into the Abyss Reshanta menu, open the Trade Shop, and select the Growth tab. Stigma Shard (Bound) sells there for Abyss Points, starting at 10,000 Abyss Points per shard and climbing through the purchase chain to 15,000, 20,000, and 25,000 as you buy more. Each tier covers 50 shards before the price steps up.

Clear the cheaper tiers and your free quest shards before paying 25,000 Abyss Points a shard. The top tier burns points fast for the same single shard.

Farm Abyss Points for shards

Since the shop runs on Abyss Points, the real grind is building up that currency. Several repeatable sources stack together across a week.

Daily Wanted Duty quests

Open the Duty Journal and take the daily Wanted targets, such as Mad Lucant, Immortal Garmon, and Slayer Kroms. Each clear pays 1,000 Abyss Points, and you can run up to five a day.

Command quests

Completed Command quests turn in from the Journal for 1,500 to 2,000 Abyss Points each. You buy the weekly Command scrolls from Command Merchants, either in town at Safe Haven or from the higher-tier merchants at Lateran Eastern Root inside Abyss Reshanta.

Epic Lateran Eastern Root Command scrolls can be rerolled with Kinah. Spending 1,000 to 1,900 Kinah per redraw lets you reroll the reward until a high Abyss Point payout appears, so it is worth redrawing before you accept a low roll.

Abyss Supply Requests

The Weekly Abyss Supply Requests board takes crafted, gathered, or dropped gear and pays large sums of Abyss Points for it. Delivering weapons and shields here is one of the heavier bulk sources, and you can often buy the requested items cheaply off the market to fill orders.

Where to spend first

Keep the plan simple. Reallocate to clear whatever CP gate is in front of you right now, then feed one build-defining skill at a time toward Lv. 20 with shards you earn from leveling and quests before leaning on the Abyss shop. Finish a skill before starting the next, since dripping shards across half-leveled Stigmas leaves you weak everywhere and wastes the expensive top tier. Once your core skills are set, you can redirect currency elsewhere.
