Enshrouded 1.0: How to Get Daylily

Harvest the orange flower in the Veilwater Basin, farm it at a Seedbed, and spend it on dyes and Flame upgrades.

Harvest the orange flower in the Veilwater Basin, farm it at a Seedbed, and spend it on dyes and Flame upgrades.

Daylily is a common crafting material in Enshrouded 1.0, a bright orange flower whose petals feed dyes, fabric, banners, lights, an axe, and one of the late Flame upgrades. Its in-game description reads, “An orange daylily flower. The petals are vibrant enough to be used for dyes.” It stacks up to 250 per slot.

Quick answer: Pick Daylily from the orange flowers in the Veilwater Basin — each plant gives 2 or 3 — or grow your own at a Seedbed once you have collected one.

Where to pick Daylily in the Veilwater Basin

Almost every Daylily grows in the Veilwater Basin, with a handful also found in Cinder’s Cradle. The flowers sit on the ground in the open and along the paths, so there is no node to mine or enemy to kill for them — you simply walk up and harvest.

Travel to the Veilwater Basin.
Search the trails and surrounding brush for orange Daylily blooms.
Approach a plant and press the interact key to gather it. You’ll receive 2 or 3 Daylily from each one.

Keep picking until you have what you need. Raising the Flame from level 9 to 10 alone takes 30 Daylily.

Grow Daylily at the Seedbed

After gathering Daylily, grow more at your base to avoid making the journey each time. Use the Seedbed to turn 1 Daylily and 1 Fertilised Farm Soil into 5 Daylily Seedlings; crafting them takes three minutes. Set the seedlings in suitable soil at your base, then collect them when they finish growing.
