In Enshrouded 1.0, Fenrig Mills, Jr. serves as the Farmer’s assistant, and the Flame quest “Bring Back The Pure Souls” returns him to your home. Start at Fenrig’s Farm, located in the Springlands, and continue to a wolf cave nearby. Recover his soul there, then summon him at your base.
Quick answer: Use the note at Fenrig’s Farm in the Springlands to find the wolf cave and rescue Fenrig’s soul. Then open the Summoning Staff menu and select the “Assistants” category to summon him.
Start the “Bring Back The Pure Souls” quest
This is a quest from the Flame. The first journal entry, Search For Pure Souls, reads:
The Flame explained that your power has grown tremendously. You can now reclaim the souls of those who perished while untouched by the Shroud or the Elixir. Investigate the area marked on your map to search for clues!
That marked area is Fenrig’s Farm in the Springlands. Head there to begin the search.
Rescue Fenrig’s soul from the wolf cave
You’ve discovered a note that referred to a farmer called Fenrig. Follow him to the wolf cave he ventured to and explore the area!
Summon Fenrig at your base and talk to him
With the soul rescued, the journal moves to Summon And Talk To Fenrig:
You’ve rescued a pure soul. Summon them in your base using a Summoning Staff. In the Summoning Staff menu, you can switch between different categories. Go to the “Assistants” category and summon Fenrig. Speak to him afterward!
What Fenrig Mills, Jr. does
Fenrig Mills, Jr. fills the Farmer’s assistant role and uses the Farmer’s crafting list. Summoning him gives your base another farmer.
