Enshrouded 1.0: Where to Find the Artificer’s Set

All five cosmetic pieces sit in silver chests scattered across the Cinder's Cradle sky islands.

All five cosmetic pieces sit in silver chests scattered across the Cinder’s Cradle sky islands.

The Artificer’s Set is a five-piece cosmetic outfit in Enshrouded 1.0, made up of the Artificer’s Helmet, Chest, Gloves, Pants, and Boots. You cannot craft any of it. Each piece waits inside its own silver chest in Cinder’s Cradle, with the chests spread across the region’s sky islands.

Quick answer: Find and loot five silver chests, one at each of these Cinder’s Cradle spots, to complete the set: Proto Vessel Bay, Manathor’s Plaza, the Construct Ruin, the elevated area over Worker’s Ward, and the Gardens Of Earthly Delights.

What you need before you go

Everything for this set lives in Cinder’s Cradle, so you need access to that region first. Because the chests sit on separate sky islands, you also want the movement tools that let you cross the gaps between them.

  • Access to Cinder’s Cradle.
  • A Glider for crossing between the floating islands.
  • A Grappling Hook for reaching higher ground.

Where each Artificer’s Set piece is

Each location holds a single silver chest with one piece inside.

How to collect the full set

Reach Cinder’s Cradle and bring both the Glider and the Grappling Hook. You will use them to move between the sky islands where the chests sit.
Search the five locations named above for their silver chests. The one overlooking Worker’s Ward sits on high ground; use a Grappling Hook to reach it more easily.
Claim the item from each chest. After looting all five, you will have the complete Artificer’s Set.

To confirm you have everything, equip the pieces in your cosmetic slots. Slotting the helmet, chest, gloves, pants, and boots changes how your character looks, which tells you the set is complete.

What the Artificer’s Set does

These pieces are purely cosmetic. They change your character’s appearance and add no armor or stats. You equip them in your cosmetic slots rather than your gear slots.

Each piece carries its own description in game:

  • Artificer’s Helmet: “A helmet that hides the wearer’s face below a sturdy sheet metal mask. The attached headpiece adds some height and heft, resembling the dawning sun — and the beginning of a new era of progress.”
  • Artificer’s Chest: “A dusty overcoat that reveals a metal exoskeleton beneath. A perfectly spherical cavity lies at the very centre of the chest plate, waiting to be adorned with an energy core.”
  • Artificer’s Gloves: “Refined gloves that offer both protection and maneuverability for the fingers. Wearing them makes one feel as though they can work with utmost precision and concentration.”
  • Artificer’s Pants: “Comfortable cloth pants that protect one from scratches and burns. They feel well-insulated.”
  • Artificer’s Boots: “A pair of heavy-duty, gilded boots. Even sharp machinery pieces or rotating gears could not scrape them.”
