Ancient Spires are towering stone structures found throughout Enshrouded’s map. Conquering one adds a Fast Travel destination and uncovers nearby landmarks. There are 10 in total, and quests in several regions direct you to their spires.
What conquering an Ancient Spire unlocks
A spire does two jobs. The game’s own description covers both:
“Scale Ancient Spires and speak to the Flame atop to reveal important landmarks on your map. Ancient Spires unveil the location of Elixir Wells and Flame Sanctums. They also function as fast travelling points once conquered. Open your map and select the Ancient Spire marker to Fast Travel.”
Once you finish the climb, a second message spells out what you’ve earned:
“By climbing the Ancient Spire, you’ve unlocked the ability to fast travel there. You can also reveal information about the surrounding area if you talk to the Flame atop the Ancient Spire.”
How to conquer an Ancient Spire

Eight regions have spires. The Springlands and Cinder’s Cradle have two each, and every other region has one. Distances are measured from the closest named place on the map.

- A Lighthouse In Sunless Seas: “Master The Ancient Veilwater Basin Spire”
